In the motorsport world, ring was often used as an alternate term for race track or circuit. There were some circuits that used the word to combine it with the region of the circuit itself. For example Nürburgring and Hockenheimring in Germany, as Nürburg and Hockenheim were the towns where the circuits were located at.
Ring could also be translated as a small circular band, typically of precious metal and often set with one or more gemstones, worn on a finger as an ornament of marriage, engagement, or authority.
Usually, the ring word stuck on his mind every time he came to the circuits that were mentioned above. But in Singapore, there was another ring that was on his mind.
Seb and Gia had flown from Vienna on Sunday afternoon and they landed in Singapore on Monday afternoon as the flight took more or less 18 hours. On the same day as their departure, Adelina went to Gilbert's house in Berlin as she would spend some time there.
On Tuesday, he was sitting on his king-sized bed inside his hotel room. He was holding a black velvet ring box, obviously with a beautiful ring in it. Gia had known his plan to have dinner together that evening. But she didn't know that he was going to do something that she wouldn't forget in her life.
He would officially ask her to marry him. After dating for about three months, he felt that it was the right time to be engaged to her. He had reserved a table for the two of them as they would have a very romantic dinner at The Summerhouse Garden Domes. It would be a unique and beautiful experience to dine in the dome. He opened the ring box. There was a shiny diamond ring inside, the ring that would be beautifully worn on Gia's ring finger.

Seb smiled widely. He had told his parents, Fabian, and also Gia's family and Mariska about his plan. And they were looking forward to hear from him if everything went smoothly.
As the time had come, he closed the box and put it inside his pocket. He calmed himself by inhaling deeply and exhaling slowly to reduce his nervousness. He left his room and walked to Gia's room which was next to his. He started knocking the door.
"Gia?"
"Seb? Is that you?" she asked from the inside of her room.
"Yes, it's me. Are you ready?"
"Wait a minute."
Gia looked at the mirror in front of her. She wore yellow button midi dress. She knew that it was quite hot in Singapore, even in the evening, so she thought that wearing that dress would be comfortable for her.
