Page 27: The Giant and the Treasure Room:

After getting a plan together, Emma climbed up to the top of one of the big statues by the entrance. Hook picked up a bone before looking up at Emma. "You ready?" He asked her, seeing her on the shoulder of the silver knight statue. "Yeah..." Emma said nervously when she looked over to see Dream hiding as they told her to.

Hook moved over to the shield, where Dream was hiding when he used the bone to bang on it three times. They waited for a bit before hearing a growling. It wasn't like the ogre but more human-like. He came out running, shaking the ground, while Emma held onto the statue for dear life.

Dream looked nervous when Hook dropped the bone, moving to hold onto her. The giant looked around when Hook looked over, needing to buy Emma sometime. "Stay here." He whispered to Dream, who nodded before watching him walk over to where the giant could see him. "Oi!" Hook yelled, getting the giant's attention. "Hey! Yeah, you, huh? You want to kill a human, huh? You want to kill a human?" Hook taunted, moving around the giant, buying Emma time to use the powder. "Well, I'm the worst human around, so come on! Come on, then!" He continued, moving towards the statue where Emma was.

"Come on, Emma... Hurry up..." Dream said to herself, watching Hook taunt the giant. 

The giant turned, bending down to pick him up. Emma threw the powder in his face, making him fall asleep. "Hook?" Dream asked, running out to ensure he wasn't crushed by the giant. "Hook?" Emma asked, still on the statue. "Hook?" Dream asked when she sighed in relief, seeing Hook get up. 

"He's out cold," Hook announced when Dream walked over, hitting him. "What was that for?" Hook asked her after she punched his arm. 

"You scared me." Dream scoffed when Hook smirked at her.

"I don't mean to upset you, Dream, but I think we make quite the team." He said when she smiled at him, shaking her head. She looked over, seeing Emma still on the statue, watching them. "Let's go steal a compass." She said before climbing down the statue.

Once Emma got down, they headed into the castle, heading towards the treasure room. "They hoarded all of their greatest stolen treasure in here." Hook explained, walking in between the girls. "Piles of jewels and every room filled with coins..." He said, stopping to walk over to a small vase of coins, gold, jewelry, and goblets. He picked up a coin; he stopped to put it in his pocket, turning to smirk at Dream. He picked up a simple golden bracelet that was worth a lot. He picked it up to put it around her wrist. "What are you doing?" Dream asked him, wondering why he grabbed her wrist again with his hook.

"A replacement for the other one you wear." He smirked when Dream smiled to herself. "Thank you..." Dream said, looking up at him, while Emma turned, scoffing again. Was this what it's gonna be like the whole time?

"Let's get to it. The compass." Emma said, making Hook look over at her while Dream stared at the bracelet. "What's your rush?" Hook asked her when Emma rolled her eyes. "How long do you think magic knockout powder lasts?" Emma asked Hook and Dream.

"I have no clue." Hook shrugged, picking up the coin again.

"That's my rush." Emma sighed when Dream looked at her before walking over to her. "Too right, lass... Come. Everything we need is right in front of us." Hook said, walking ahead of them to lead the way to the treasure room.

"They killed all the giant housekeepers, too?" Emma asked while they headed into the messy but ginormous treasure room. "How are we gonna find a compass in this mess?" Emma continued to ask.
