I sat there picking at my sweater. I felt sooo uncomfortable talking about my period with Calum even though he's a doctor. Let alone Ashton. It's just uncomfortable.

I mean they're best friends with my sister's man so it's kinda weird.

We all waited patiently and Ashton walked in.

"Why hello everyone, how's it going?"

"Great"

"Wonderful"

"Couldn't have gotten any better" I said dreadily.

"So Ash, we called over for a quick consult."

"What's up"

"The last couple of months Alayna has had terrible menstrual pain. It does go away with over the counter medicine, however I still felt as if I should consult you."

Ashton sat down and started talking.

"Hmm okay, how bad are the pains?"

"A 7 or 8 out of ten" I answered.

"And do you have a heavy flow? Or a longer duration?"

"No"

"Okay well it could be a number of things. It could be that since you are growing, your hormones are still a bit wack and they're trying to balance themselves out. It could also be a number of disorders, however I don't want to jump there yet. For now, let's keep an eye on it. If the pains seem to progress and medications don't work- we can look in further.

"U-Uhhh okay" I said kinda uncomfortably.

"If the pain seems to progress, we can investigate further. In most cases a pelvic exam would be performed or an ultrasound"

My heart dropped. "With all due respect, I'm not getting a fucking pelvic exam. Thank you for your time. We can all move on now"

HAHAH you thought

"Layna language! They're only trying to help"

"Okay cool thanks." I said frustrated.

I had no more social in me anymore.

"Okay cool. So let's keep an eye on it. Otherwise you're all good Alayna."

"Cool thanks" I said and walked out.

Gosh I need a drink now.

"Thank you both" I heard Alayna said as she thanked them.

"Of course"

"Anytime"

That was the most awkward thing. I hated that. No thank you I would not like to discuss my period with them.

I need to go home & take a nap man
