Hridayamardam

" yeh shaadi nahi ho rahi hai" karan declares.

Everyone looks towards each other, but his Dad keeps looking at him with a confused face and he keeps looking down.😔

Both Suraj and Veena get up from there chairs, looking at their son, shocked.

Dadi also looks at her grandson, upset.

Suraj keeps looking at karan, Karan shakes his head 'no', Veena looks down.

Karan shakes his head 'no' and says "main and kaira...."

"mere baaremein mujhe bolne do na..." kaira interrupts him, karan gets shocked and turns to look at her, kaira rushes angrily, into the courtyard of hridayamardam.

Everyone keeps looking at her.

Karan looks at her shocked, and dadi also gets up from her seat.

Kaira keeps glaring at karan, karan walks upto her saying "kaira.." but kaira interrupts him.

"ek minute karan, kal humare yahan aake tumne baat ki na (raj, sunanda and rashmu also rush behind her, as if they were stopping her from going to hridayamardam), aaj mujhe bolna hai"

karan keeps staring at her confused and shocked, kaira walks past him, towards his family, while he keeps standing like that only, with his back towards his family.

She looks towards everyone, and gulping she continues "karan ne aapko bataya nahi hai, but kal maine finally, karan ko boldiya hai (karan turns defeated,towards kaira) mujhe nahi karni hai yeh shaadi"

Suraj places his hands on his waist, shocked, looking at kaira, confused.

Everyone keeps staring at her.

Karan sighs loudly, listening that and closes his eyes.

"papa engagement ke baadmein... ya pehle mujhe pata nahi (kaira says to suraj) par jis karan se main pyaar karti thi na, yeh woh karan nahi hai (suraj looks towards karan, who opens his red tired eyes, looking up, crying) woh badalne laga, bahut badlagya...and main darr ne lag gayi (karan looks down)...mujhe laga ki atleast abhi ..main mana karsakti hu...par kalko shaadi hone ke baad, woh aise hi badalta raha toh main kyya karungi (she says looking towards suraj and Veena)...main usko 'nahi bol paungi kya?, main shaadi tod dungi kya phir? (Suraj keeps listening to her intently) continuously feel horaha tha, ke kuch toh galat horaha hai, kuch galat hai (karan keeps looking down) aur...I was so right."

"karan (pointing behind her, towards karan) humare yahan kal aaya and bola ki...main mere gharwalon se baat karunga...aaplog yahan se chale jaiye (suraj places his hands on the table, shocked at the revelation) ...bags pack karliye hainn maine (kaira says looking over her shoulder towards karan, karan closes his eyes, sighing he shakes his head in no) par uss se pehle mujhe aap sab se ek zaroori baat karni thi, isiliye main aayi hu yahan pe."

Karan looks back at Raj and sunanda standing quietly, their heads down with shame. Rashmu looking at him, tears glistening her eyes.

Everyone looks at kaira anticipatingly.

"dadi yeh aapka karan haina (kaira says pointing towards karan, dadi nods)... yeh bahut hopeless hain huh...bahut jyada hopeless hai (dadi and karan look at kaira confused) isko aisa lagta hai ke woh hero hai (kaira says smiling, karan keeps looking at her confused) isko aisa lagta hai ki...usne saamne wale ko fair chance dena chahiye hai, phir isko kitni hi takleef kyun na ho..chalega...isko aisa lagta hai samne wale ko apni galat sajhamein aaye tab tak chup hi rehne ka, toh phir yeh smart, intelligent prove hoga (karan keeps looking at her confused)...main jis karan ko mili thi na....woh karan....woh aisa nahi hai....woh..woh bahut childlike, carefree, chanchal sa tha....and mere haath mein badmein yeh ekdum mature (again pointing towards karan) karan aaya and main confuse hogayi...
