It was December 1st. Dick's birthday.
Rowan placed the scrambled eggs on the plate as Alfred watched her with a small smile. She glanced at the butler, "You're sure that I'm allowed to use your kitchen?"
The man scoffed, "Miss Blake, you're welcome to any time. I don't trust the boys and I know you understand why."
Rowan cheekily smiled, "Trust me, Alf, I completely understand."
The girl grabbed the plate that was filled with bacon, eggs, pancakes, and strawberries. She wanted the boy's sixteenth birthday to be one he remembered. Rowan walked carefully up the stairs and strolled into his room, not bothering to knock.
Dick had an arm draped over his forehead and the other spread out. The blanket covered his lower half and he apparently decided to not wear a shirt to bed the night before, Rowan staring at his abs for a little too long. She placed the food on the nightstand, making sure it wouldn't fall.
The girl—with no hesitation— jumped onto the boy, eliciting a groan to tumble out of his lips. He opened his blue eyes to see the girl with a huge smile on her face.
"Happy birthday!"
Dick smiled and grabbed her waist, flipping them so he laid over her. He quickly kissed her, showing his appreciation.
Rowan pushed him away and gagged, "Morning breath, you dickweed."
The boy laughed and quickly moved off her, sitting up and grabbing his birthday food. She sat up against his headboard with him, grabbing a pancake and taking a bite.
The bedroom door opened to reveal two boys. One with a mischievous grin and the other with a shy smile.
"What's up, Jay?" The boy didn't respond and just jumped on the bed, resting his head on her legs.
Dick groaned, "Get out of here, you menaces!" Rowan whacked his chest with the back of her hand.
"They're here to say happy birthday. No need to be mean, Dick."
Jay sat up and wrapped his arms around her waist, cuddling into her, "Yea, Dick. No need to be mean." Robin glared at the child. Jason knew what he was doing and it pissed the birthday boy off.
Rowan waved over the smaller boy who just got to the Wayne Manor about two weeks ago, "No need to be shy, Tim." The child walked over and sat in between Dick and Rowan, also cuddling into her.
The birthday boy scoffed at the two boys, "It's my birthday and I can't sit next to my girlfriend?" Rowan gave him a look, but Jason stuck out his tongue right behind the girl, "Oh, c'mon. You had to see that!"
Rowan looked back at Jay who had an innocent look on his face, "See what?"
Dick thought for a moment, then set his food down and walked toward the door. He opened it and then looked at the two boys who were practically melting into the teenage girl, "If you don't get out now, I will tell Bruce you two were the reasons why the manor had that smell to it for days." The two boys looked at each other and then shrugged, not finding it to be that threatening, "That includes telling Alfred." The two ran out.
Robin closed the door and then jumped back in bed, wrapping his arms around Rowan's waist, and resting his head on her stomach. Her hands wove into his hair, playing with it.
A knock sounded from the door and Alfred came in with a somewhat angry expression, "Master Jason and Master Tim told me you were the reason for the holes in the living room wall that I had to fix. Is that true, Master Dick?"
