(Part 15): "Teoa's Pet"

"Put your hands up!" I was rudely awakened.

I looked down to see a bunch of men with rifles, pointing them up at me. I put my hands up quickly, causing me to wobble and fall off the tree. I felt a shooting pain in my side, I started to see black and I screamed out.

"Wake up." I felt a kick in the leg.

My eyes shot open. Teoa was there, I gave him a dirty look.

"You could've died out there. Good thing I came to save you." He smiles at me, "I have Blaire too. Silly girl was looking for you." He kissed my forehead.

I kicked his foot, to get him away from me. I saw the door open and Blaire ran in; she hugged me tightly.

"Are you ok? Are you hurt? What'd they do to you!?" Blaire screamed out.

"I'm fine." I respond.

"There's some clothes in the corner dresser for you." He pointed to the dresser, "Oh and Lissi, you're welcome to sleep with me." He smirked at me.

I swallowed hard; biting my lip nervously. I looked outside at the little flakes.

"Don't bother trying to escape. The windows have alarms." He smiles at me, "From now on you'll do as I say. I no longer serve you. Speaking of which, Blaire get back to work." He dismisses her.

Blaire walked out with her head down. I got up and swung at him, and he caught my fist; twisting it behind my back then slamming me against the wall. I groan in pain.

"Nice try, princess. Now get changed." He demands, slapping my as̈s̈, then walking away.

I looked in the drawer, and put on a sweater that just barely covers me, with little boot-socks. I saw a teddy bear in the corner, and I grabbed it; carrying it with me everywhere. I felt like a little girl. I'm so confused on what's going on. I walked out of my room, and I run into another man.

"Watch where you're- - Oh, hello." He smiled at me.

"Um... Hi..." I quietly say.

"Are you lost? Are you suppose to be working?" He asked me, as if I was dumb.

I shrugged. Actually not knowing what I'm suppose to be doing.

"Well, you can come with me." He tells me.

I nodded my head. I proceeded to follow him into another room. He was watching people; as soon as I turned my head I realized they were all women.

"What is this place?" I asked him.

"Um well...." He hesitates to say, sighing a bit, "We sell women for money."

I stood there in shock. Will I be sold? Will I get out of here? I'm getting stressed out. My heart starts beating really fast; almost out of my chest. I swallowed hard.

"W-W-Will I b-b-be s-s-s-sold?" I hesitate to ask.

"I don't know."

I watched one girl; getting beat for not pushing to the turn the wheel. I was confused on what the wheel was for. It was to keep this place working and running. I looked in fear, as one was shot. I looked at the man's face; he looked up at me. It was Jordan. He ran up the stairs to me.

"Lissi!?" He exclaimed.

"Why're you here?" I looked at him with a nasty look.

"Teoa kidnapped me while I was helping some men with your brother." He told me.

I sighed, looking at the floor. He kissed my cheek.

"Are you guys together?" The man asked me.

"No." I respond.
