Unwritten

(Part 19): "October 31st"

I felt someone jump on top of me and as soon as I opened my eyes, it was Julia.

"Lissi! Lissi! Lissi!" She exclaims.

"What." I respond.

I'm not much of a morning person. I don't like to talk in the morning or really have any interaction until I'm ready for the day.

"My wedding is going to be next week!" She smiles, "And I want you to be my maid of honor!"

I smile back at her, "I'd love to be your maid of honor."

"I already have my dress picked out, where we're going to have it, and-"

"-And it's time for work ladies." Rosen interrupts.

He walks over to me, and picks me up; giving me one quick kiss. Julia sighed, walking outside of our room. Rosen put me down after giving me my kiss and I started getting ready for the day. He sighed. I noticed that he was a little irritated.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I don't think that you should be fighting out in the front lines."

He looked at me, then his eyes narrowed at me.

"What?" I mutter.

"What's that scar on your neck?" He says a little angrily.

"Oh.... My uncle use t-t-to beat m-m-m-me." I struggle to say.

Rosen sighed. He got up and wrapped his arms around me tightly.

"You always get hurt."

I shrugged. Nothing I can do to help it. I don't exactly know what to say to that. He heard the bell outside, and Mason comes into the room.

"You guys ready...?" He asks.

"Lissi isn't feeling good." Rosen says sadly.

Why did he say that?

"What's wrong dear?" Mason questions seriously.

"She said that she has a head ache, and last night when I carried her to bed she threw up."

Mason cocked one eyebrow up, "Oh. Then she can stay in here for the day. Get some rest, Lissi. I hope you feel better soon."

Rosen lays me down in bed. I put my head on the soft pillow where he laid last night.

"Can I stay here with her?" Rosen bites his lip.

"Now son, you know the policy. We have a nurse looking after her." Mason mutters.

He nodded his head and sighed. Rosen came over to my bed, kissed my forehead, and whispered,

"I love you." He smiles.

Both of the men left the room in silence, then proceeded to talk outside. I got up and changed into some sweatpants and one of Rosen's t-shirts; then putting my hair up in a messy bun. I heard someone come straight through the door.

"Guess who's your nurse for today!?" Julia comes in as a surprise.

I laughed at her. She made me smile and less confused.

"Hey, do you wanna make Lizzy mad? She's cleaning the floor in the main room." Julia giggles.

"Oh boy, do I!" I said in excitement.

Julia took my hand, and we ran down to the main building. Just as she said Lizzy was cleaning the floor. Julia make a mark with her shoe.

"You missed a spot." She cackles.
