Chapter 21

Logan's pov

"Alright, we don't want war. We need to solve this." Lucas told us.

Zay and I sat across from Riley, Maya, and Farkle. Lucas stood at the end of the table of us.

"Well Lucas, who do you agree with?" Riley asked.

"I'm not choosing sides but I will say this. Logan and Zay shouldn't have lied, but they probably had a good reason." he explained.

"Why did you guys lie?" Farkle asked confused.

I looked at Zay who was about to tell, but I kicked him lightly under the table. I gave him a look and he stopped talking.

"Well?" Maya asked.

"It's something personal between us." I told them. "Guys please, I want to tell you guys, but I just can't. It's just something where Zay happened to be there and I told him. I will tell you guys when the time's right, but right now it's just not." I told them.

Riley, Maya, and Farkle all got up and left. Lucas took their spots and I let my head fall on the table.

"Why can't they understand?" I asked.

"Logan, they'll come around." Lucas reassured me.

"I hope." I sighed.

Maya's pov

"I can't believe they lied!" Riley paced back and forth in her room.

"Why can't they tell us?" Farkle asked confused.

Why couldn't Logan tell us, but just Zay.

Especially Lucas, she tells Lucas everything.

"I thought she could trust us, she tells us everything especially-" I cut myself off.

She tells Lucas everything.

She wants to tell us.

But she can't.

Because she likes Lucas.

"What Maya?" Riley asked.

I understand why she can't tell Lucas. She doesn't want him to know.

And she can't tell me or Riley because she doesn't want us to be upset or hurt.

But why can't she tell Farkle?

Unless she has feelings for him to...

"I got it." I whispered.

"What?" they both asked and Riley sat down.

I decided not to tell Farkle about her possible crush, that's between her.

"She doesn't want to tell because she has feelings for Lucas." I explained

"What?" Riley asked.

"Think about it. She always goes to Lucas for help, and she didn't this time. Then she wouldn't tell us because she knows we like him." I explained.

"But what about me?" Farkle asked and we both looked at him.

"New Years." we both said and he sunk down.

"I did the right thing." he mumbled.

"That's why." Riley said.

"It makes sense." Farkle said.

Poor Logan, we need to talk to her.

Farkle's pov

I can't believe Logan likes Lucas.

I stuffed my hands in my pockets while walking home.

I really like Logan, but I have to respect that she likes Lucas. It's her life, I can't change her decision about this. I can't force her to like me.

But maybe I should tell her how I feel?

I did force Riley to tell Lucas, and spilled the beans. Maybe I should follow my own advice and tell her how I feel.

"I can't, it'll ruin everything." I told myself.

I sighed and kept walking. What am I going to do?

I sighed and walked up the steps of Einstein Academy.

"How can we help you?" the office lady asked.

"Office lady." I smiled, "Isadora Smackle, is she here?"

Logan's pov

"Zay, they all hate me." I told him and paced back and forth.

Lucas had left, it was just me and Zay now.

"Same here, Logan just tell them." he begged. "It'll solve everything."

"I can't! I told him. "It will also ruin everything!"

"Logan," a voice said and I spun around, "can we talk?"

It was Riley and Maya.

"I think that's best." I nodded and we looked at Zay.

"Well, I need cereal." he left to the kitchen.

I sat down by Riley and Maya.

"We know you like Lucas."

My heart stopped.

A/N: Sorry it's so short! I needed to write something, but next one will hopefully be longer!

And this would've been up yesterday, but I didn't have school and I like to update at school so I can feel like I've actually done with my life. And now Sabrina Carpenter's playing so it's all good!

Will Farkle follow his own advice and tell Logan that he likes her?

And why did he go to Smackle?

Where is Lucas standing in the situation?

And what will Maya and Riley say to Logan?
