I smile encouragingly "tell me and I'll beat them up" I say acting as if they're not standing right there
She bows her head and let's her messy brown hair fall to her face.
I frown and than remember the stuff I have in my bag, I'll bribe her to be happy.. if that makes sense in which it doesn't
I turn around to go get my bag from the rack when I trip, I'm sure they tripped me..
They start laughing and I get up dusting myself.
"I'd rather look at the floor than at your face" I say making them shut up
I continue walking and the little girl suddenly gets up and runs after me.
I walk towards the boy 'side' cause that's where I left my bag, I see my brothers and a few cousins I recognize.
"Hey,what ya doin?" Leo's freind Asks me
I'm not going to reply.
"Hey? Is she deaf to something?"
I roll my eyes and take my bag.
"Honey,-" I start
"My name's not honey! It's maya"
"Oh ok, maya do you want some chips? Or I can let you play on my iPad-"
"Yes please!" She Says giggling
I hand her a bag of chips and my iPad, and she crosses her legs on the couch.
I take out a book and she looks up instantly, "can I read? Please please pleaseeee"
"Sure" I say and hand over my life (book) to her.
She opens it and starts to read letter by letter.
" I S-m-e-l-l smell! C-u-p cup! C-a-k-e-s Cakes! cupcakes! Can I h-a-v-e have s-o-m-e some!, R-I-l-e-y Riley!"
I lean over to read for her
"I smell cupcakes, can I have some Riley? He said lunging for the cupcakes in my arms-"
"-no, I want to read!" She says

I nod and fold the edge of the paper do I don't lose my page.
I can see France arguing with the girls in the corner of my eyes but I still look around for anyone else that's alone, I am so not letting anyone go through what I've been through.
I see a girl with wavy blonde hair and a baseball cap, she looks My age, concluding she's the one who came back from America I turn around look at maya.
"I'm gonna go for a sec, wait here and call me if you need anything" I tell her
She nods and looks back at my book mouthing the letters before saying the word out loud.
I make my way to her and sit down beside her.
"Hey" I say
"Hi" she mummers
"Why the frick are you wearing a baseball cap inside?" I ask her
"Because" she said
I lean over and grab the baseball cap, grinning childishly.
"Catch me if you can!" I yell jumping off the couch and running outside yelling for maya to follow me.
I run down the staircase and whip out my phone
"Mom, I'm going out for fresh air, bye"

It's really short but I've been working on Brutal pain and didn't make a chapter in advance, wow updating daily on two books is stressful.
