"Mom wake up, wake up! It's time for breakfast!" the kids screamed down my ear. Jolting awake to the sound of them.

"Oh my gosh could you be any louder?" I groaned lifting myself up. They giggled as I rubbed my eyes. Finally opening them to the bright light and beaming smiles of my kids.

"Right I'm up." I yawned

"What time did you come back Mom?" Johnny wondered

"Ask your father. Go on scoot" I shoo them away and climb out of bed. Grabbing my dressing gown, I got to shower and get ready for the day. We got in about 12 last night not late but hey, people gotta work and all. Once I was refreshed the four of us met everyone for breakfast. It was a good job hybrids and werewolves can't get drunk. But it couldn't mean we felt rough.

But it couldn't mean we felt rough

"You look rough." Mom stated to me, Nessie and Jacob who opted for sunglasses.

"We are rough. Lord knows why?" Nessie moaned flopping her head on the table. The children giggled.

"I think we managed to drink the place dry and only get slightly buzzed. Our supernatural selves burnt it off but our human parts retain the consequences." I huffed sliding down in my chair a bit.

"Well that's something we now know."

"Please don't talk so loud." Jacob put his head on the table.

"Dad, are they drunk?" Faith giggled

"Not completely, they don't keep the alcohol for as long as humans do, but they feel the side effects."

"Good Morning, what can I get for you." Alex chirped. I looked over my glasses towards him

"Your blood in a glass, fresh as you can get it." I felt all eyes on me.

"Uhh."

"Kidding, Full English and Apple Juice." I smirked sliding my glasses back up. The others ordered their food and Alex left

"You know that wasn't a totally crazy idea. I could hear the pulse spike as you said that." Nessie commented

"I know, right. We so need to hunt. I don't think I would stop myself if I didn't feed." We agreed that after we would all hunt before doing any activates. Which we did after breakfast.

Now the four of us were doing archery. I pulled back the arrow as the instructor went on repeating on what to do. I rolled my eyes and let the arrow loose. It hit just outside the centre.

" Aim, Breathe, shoot. Don't mess. I got it."

"Yes, well I was running over the rules for safety." He replied

"What am I going do? Aim for someone's butt. The target is right there and I've watched enough Arrow."

"Mom?!" Faith whined

"What?" She gave me a really look and I rolled my eyes. "Fine." I handed the bow to her. "I'll bite."

"Not funny Mom." Johnny folded his arms, I grinned and winked at him

"I thought it was rather tasteful."

"Oh please stop with the jokes." He shook his head and face palmed. It was my turn to laugh and bring him into a hug.

"Relax. I'm playing." He wraps his arms around me as well and we watched Faith take her turn, she listen and then did as she was told. When she hit the bull's-eye. We cheered for her, she bowed and came back over but her sight was drawn to something else.

"Mom, who's that talking to Dad?" She pointed behind me and I turned round with Johnny. My eyes feel on Jack was facing us with someone familiar. I sniffed and locked on to one particular scent

"I'd know that perfume and desperation anywhere. Elizabeth Jones, floozy , liar, slut." I tilted my head slightly and listened in.

"You know I'd never thought I would see you here again. I have missed you." She purred

"Really, because the last time I was here, you accused me of theft. In turn my wife to reveal our relationship so that I wouldn't get sent down, again. Which then lead to me getting fired. But you've missed me."

"Oh, ta-may to, to - mah to. It was a moment of weakness."

"Mom, shouldn't you do something?" Johnny said

"He's fine." We continued watching and she draped herself over him.

"Mrs Jones, hands off." he stated

"Oh, don't be such a tease." She went into kiss him

"Mom, do something." Faith stressed. I didn't do anything though, Jack did it all himself he stepped to one side and she stumbled forward into an empty space. I smiled as he bent down to catch her before she fell flat on her face.

"Easy." he told her "Now, like I said I have a wife. Said wife who I love is the one that not only did I dance with three years ago, but is also the one watching us right now. I'm suggesting if you don't want to lose a cat fight, find someone else to fawn over. Because you just don't do it for me anymore. Have a nice holiday. Mrs Jones." He let go of her and continued on his way to me. When he did I let go of Johnny and reached up to kiss him.

"Baby, do you know why we named you Faith?" I asked my daughter who shook her head

"It's because it's another word for trust. I'm not fond of that word and when your Dad here was trying to get me to be a swan. He kept saying trust, trust, trust. I wouldn't budge, he then said he had faith in me. That meant a whole lot more. I have faith in your Dad and his love for me which is why I knew he could handle her."

"I love you." he told me

"I love you too." I gave him a kiss, wrapping my arms around him.

"Seriously." the kids groaned. Chuckling we pulled away.

The rest of the family skipped out on lunch so it was only the ones that could eat and Jack that turned up. Alex came to the table and poured out some water.

"What can I get for you."

"Alex?" Faith started

"Yes, Miss Cassidy." I had some of my water as my daughter continued

"Are you a ivy league tosser?" I coughed up the water choking at what my daughter just came out with. Jack sniggered while rubbing my back.

"Faith where did you learn that?" Nessie asked. I calm myself down and took deep breaths.

"Mom and Dad." They looked at us and we held our hands up

"We have ninja's for children." We both replied

"Well, you shouldn't listen to everything your parents say."

"Yet we do. So tell me what is so bad, that you cause our parents to swear profusely." Johnny wondered leaning his chin on his hand

"Okay, children that's enough. " I say and the turn to me as I folded my arms and raised an eyebrow.

"Sorry Mom." My eyes then flickered to Alex.

"We'll have the steak and my children will have bolognaise. Thank you, Alex." He took our order and left.

" Faith, Johnny. Your Dad and I love you but eavesdropping on our conversations is not good. Now you two forfeit the afternoon of activities you wanted to do.

"What?"

"No?"

"Yes. There is a time and place on confronting people. This was not one of them. Now you will have your food and we will be back at the cabin as a family not doing anything fun. Am I clear?"

"Yes, mom."
