"Abe, I swear, if you kill off my little sister..." Yang warned her host, pointing at him threateningly.

"Relax," Abe waved his hand. "You'll see what happens in this very episode." He paused for a couple seconds. "If anything, you should be worried about Jaune."

"What? Why him?" Weiss asked, concerned. Abe didn't answer. Instead he just selected the next episode, entitled "A Grimm Meeting," and pushed play.

The episode began with Ruby falling down the tower. Oddly enough, despite her present circumstances, the Huntress looked more annoyed than terrified. Before she could plummet too far, however, a hand reached out and grabbed her leg.

"Whoa-ho!" Jaune chuckled, looking at the woman he clutched in his hand. "It's raining Rubys! This must be my lucky day." Ruby's eyes widened as she looked at the Huntsman.

"Jaune? What're you doing here?" she demanded.

"I could ask you the same," he responded. When Ruby didn't say anything, he continued. "Adam Taurus invited me here. I don't know why, but I intend to find out."

"Arthur Watts kidnapped my stepmother," Ruby explained. "I'm here to rescue her."

"It's amusing to see them carry out a serious conversation while Ruby's life is literally in Jaune's hands," Ozpin commented, before sipping his coffee.

"Whatever you do, don't sneeze, kid," Qrow cracked.

"Qrow!" Glynda scolded, although Ruby, Yang, Coco, and Nora were all laughing at his jape.

"Well, from what I can tell, the two are working together," Jaune told the Huntress. "Why don't we do the same? That should even the odds." Ruby nodded at his suggestion, thinking it over."

"That's a good idea. However, Watts thinks he's killed me right now, and I'd like to keep the element of surprise on my side for now." She shifted a little. "So, if you don't mind..."

"Say no more." Jaune let go of Ruby's leg. The Huntress began to fall again, but this time, she righted herself, and jammed Crescent Rose into the side of the tower. Jaune watched as Ruby slowly descended into the darkness, far below. Then he turned to look at the series of stairs that led to the very top of the tower. "Well, better not keep him waiting." Jaune merely flexed his arms and muscles, before slowing heading up the stairs that would carry him to his old rival.

"Guys, is anyone else feeling a little tense right now?" Velvet asked. "I can't help but feel like something terrible's going to happen."

"I feel it too," Ren assured her. "I think the long staircase is giving us a sense of foreboding." He turned to Abe. "Well done with that aspect." Blake was silent. She saw how far Jaune had come in his swordsmanship, but Adam had been training long before him. The Champion of the White Fang would not fall so easily.

Eventually, Jaune arrived at the top of the tower. The storm clouds were now casting a gloomy shadow, which in combination with the night sky, only made the evening sky more dismal. As Jaune squinted, attempting to see, he spotted the familiar rose embroidery that adorned Adam's black jacket. Taking a deep breath, Jaune began to walk towards the middle of the tower. The bull Faunus lifted his head.

"You showed up," Adam stated plainly. Jaune chuckled as he stopped in the dead center of the tower.

"You sure know how to throw a party, Adam. No food, no drinks, and the only chick just left." Adam turned to look at Jaune, his White Fang mask obscuring the top part of his face from Jaune's sight.

"My sincerest apologies, Mr. Arc. I was so eager to see you again, I couldn't concentrate on preparations for the 'bash.'"

"The way the two of them talk, it almost sounds as though they know each other," Pyrrha commented.
