The day was finally here and students, patrons and war heroes milled and circled in the Entrance Hall, waiting for the ornate wrought iron doors to sweep open at exactly seven o'clock. Pansy was waiting nervously at the foot of a flight of stairs for Hermione who was due to meet her there any second. She wore a strapless black dress that swirled in layers around her ankles, with an elegant split running up the side, showing off her long, pale leg. Strappy muggle heels supported her and an elaborate gold belt circled her thin waist, supporting her ribs. Her black hair was straightened except for the tips which she had curled elegantly, and they were left lying down her back, glossy with a 'go away fly aways' potion.
Out of the corner of her eye she saw a figure come down the stairs. She gasped; it was Hermione, and she was stunning. A baby blue dress hugged her curves beautifully, with off the shoulder sleeves and a fitted bodice that tucked in at the waist before flaring out into a full skirt. Her arms, muscled from months of being on the run, were coated in elbow-length satin gloves in the same shade as her dress. Blue flowers circled the bodice and sleeves before gently cascading down one side of the skirt. Her hair was up in an elegant bun, soft with tendrils hanging loose gently. She wore little or no make-up, which only made Pansy fall ever harder for her.
