The driver drove like 80mph, I was surprised the police didn't chase us.

When we saw the building, we hopped out.

Piper threw a hundred at the driver.

"Keep the change."

Then we ran into the dorm(which was hard with tons shopping bags) and into our rooms, which I wished weren't on the second floor.

I slammed the door behind me and slid to the floor.

I checked my phone. 10:59. Dam! We actually made it!
I breathed out a sigh of relief.

Piper came in.

"Phew we made it!"

I high fived Piper.

Then she helped me unpack my clothes.

"Again, thanks for buying me all this."

"No problem, but next time, remind me to watch the time."

We both laughed.

"Well, I'm going to take a shower."

"I'll take one after you."

"Okay."

She went to her room.

I grabbed a Coke out of the minifridge. Then I stuck in my earbuds, an curled up with a good book, Divergent. I'd read the series before, but I wanted to reread it.

Piper knocked on the door.

"Annabeth! The showers waiting!"

"Okay!"

I put the book back on the shelf, then put my phone on the nightstand.

I grabbed my pajamas, which were fuzzy pajama pants and a tshirt.

I walked into the shower and turned the water on.
Ahhh. I've always loved showering, which may sound weird but it always helped me clear my thoughts.

This school was like... paradise. It was freedom. Away from her. I knew I would love it. I had met so many good people, all in one day.

I finished showering, turned off the water, and put my pajamas on.

Then I knocked on Pipers door and opened it.

She was curled up and watching a movie.

"Hey, I just wanted to say... thank you. Thank you for everything. Also, goodnight."

"Your welcome and goodnight roomie."

She came over and hugged me. I hugged back.

Then I went to my room and fell asleep.

AN Heeey! So sorry if this chappie was sorta short. Also, if you are reading any of my other stories, sorry I haven't updated lately. I've been feeling a bit lazy and unmotivated. Ill try to update soon. Thanks!

Yours in demigodishness, and all that. Peace out.
