Chapter 4: Awakening

"...Trees..." The Eliksni machine thought as it's single robotic eye finally opened up. "The Sky..." As it continues to look around Surveyor the Servitor found itself stuck.

With a groan it tried to fly up but it couldn't. Checking past update logs it found that it's Sky Suspension Module was indeed broken.

With nothing better to do it continued to look forward. Then suddenly the face of a small red-headed girl appeared in front of Surveyor's eye.

"It worked! It actually worked!" The young girl said. "Voice recognized" thinks Surveyor. "Face belongs to Ruby Rose, A.K.A: Friend."

"Wait wait wait, hold up." Surveyor picks up a new voice one he doesn't know. He identifies a face show up in his field of view. A slightly taller blonde headed girl with leaves and twigs in it, who looks to be around the age of Ruby."

"So you're telling me this is what you've been doing going in the forest all this time?" Yang asks her sister, staring into the now glowing eye of Surveyor.

"What is it?" Yang questioned her sister next to her, who Ruby with a wide smile exclaimed her response. "No idea!"

A smack to the back of the head was given when Yang realized how dumb the response was, especially when her dust Crystal was eaten by it.

"You gave up my dust Crystal for this?!"

"Oooww, you didn't have to hit me!" Ruby exclaimed with a glare, goggles still on.

"Damage sustained, must protect."

"Well that's what you get for ruining my paper! Ugh! My grade was going to passing!" Yang yelled.

"My hairs ruined because of some stupid sticks and leaves in my hair!" Ruby saw the other sticks and leaves but did not point them out. "Maybe I should mess up your hair!" Yang said with a glare.

Yang's eyes were now red, and right fist was clench. "Oh no..." thought Ruby knowing what would come next. "Not the noogie!" Ruby cried in fear.

Yet her escaped plan failed when her cloak was caught by Yang's other hand. Noogie hand still raised up. "Noogie time!"
"No! Wait!"

Surveyor watched the two interact, it seemed the blonde haired one was going to attack Ruby. Ruby was in a chokehold and it seemed this "Noogie" was going to hurt.

"Objective: Protect Family, by extension Ruby Rose."

"It's all over" thought Ruby, her head's gonna hurt, her hair's gonna get messed up, than a headache, Yang's famous Noogies were infamous among her peers.

They were bad when it was a friendly one, but when Ruby basically ruined her project to pass her class, did the young girl realize this Noogie wasn't going to get a friendly one.

So as she prepared the dreadful sensation of her head hurting did she close her eyes in preparation...but nothing happened. What did happen was Yang's sudden cry of surprise. "What the?"
