After Ruby's scream, she and her friends were pushed back by an unseen force, while Jaune was grabbed from the Fallen and landed in front of his team. "Oof!"
Out from the Forest came Glynda Goodwitch who was behind the students. After jumping in front of the group she raises her riding crop at the Fallen Deserters and yells.
"What do you think you're doing with my students!"
The Captain activated his weapons and the Vandal raised his gun. The group of Fallen bunched together behind their acting commander. The Vandal starts speaking in Eliksni.
"Ruby what is he saying?" Yang asks her sister. But with Surveyor deactivated the SCD wasn't translating, even worse, Surveyor wasn't moving, even as a few Dregs started to look over and poke at the Servitor.
"Hey you leave him alone!" Ruby suddenly yelled trying to run to her metallic friend but was stopped by Glynda's semblance.
"What do you think you're doing Miss Rose?"
"It's Surveyor! He's damaged! I can't let them accidentally hurt them." Looking at the Fallen she does see that large Metal Orb in the middle of the Fallen and tries to grab it telekinetically.
But a round from the Vandal's gun was shot in front of her, kicking up some dust and ground.
The Vandal speaks in Eliksni more, as if talking with Glynda.
Looking at the Servitor and seeing one little Dreg breaking a panel off of the Servitor and looking inside, Ruby yelled again. "Hey! Stop it!"
The Vandal and Captain looked behind them at the group and saw the same thing, a little Dreg, a recent Dreg, was tearing into the Servitor.
With the distracted, Glynda saw her chance and used her Semblance to push the two away, hard. With a loud bang The Vandal and Captain were pushed to the ground and she spoke to her students. "Now Run!"
Hoping to give her students the chance to get to the ship, but the unexpected happened. The same students who she thought were all in danger by these Eliksni.
"Hey!"
"What gives Professor?!"
Both Yang and Nora exclaimed and suddenly Jaune was standing between the two groups, his shield up, hoping to protect the Eliksni from her.
"Jaune Arc, what do you think you're doing?"
With a shaky voice he spoke, "S-sorry Professor...but I can't let you hurt them." Jaune said with false bravado. "Us too!"
Pyrrha said as she stood with him, Ren and Nora joining afterwards. "Pyrrha..." Jaune said, not expecting her, or his team to help him.
Pyrrha smiled back and nodded at him, team JNPR, was finally a team. Where Glynda glared at the team Juniper stood strong, the Eliksni's respect for Jaune rose.
"Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa! Hey! Let's just all take a step back and breathe." Yang said, trying to break the tension and placing a hand on her teacher's shoulder, "Hehe...Look Ms. Goodwitch-" Glynda glared at Yang who was next to her.
The hand came off "I-I mean Miss! Professor Goodwitch! Hehe..." Yang was visually nervous trying to talk to her teacher.
"Fix!" A small but loud voice was heard.
