DESPITE THE UNFORTUNATE situation that Angel Griffin seemed to find himself in, he ran forward with a grin that matched his cheerful expression while Thalia ran alongside him with a spear that contrasted the smaller knives he was holding in his right hand. He honestly couldn't tell you how he ended up here, but it all happened so fast he was regretting agreeing to help Grover go undercover to uncover two new demigods.

Seeing Angel fall backward, Thalia pounced with her spear. "For Zeus!" she cried out as she struck.

As he used Thalia's shield to boost himself, Angel leapt forward without missing a beat, gripping his dagger tightly and about to swung as Thalia stabbed at the monster's head. Though the monster wasn't too happy about that, as he barked and swatted away Thalia's spear. His hand transformed into an enormous orange claw which Angel barely missed as he maneuvered himself out of the way as he twisted his body midair, his foot just barely touching and pushing off the tip of the claw, which provided him with just enough of a boost to jump and flip away from him before being attacked. The others couldn't believe it was possible to twist one's body like that without breaking a bone, but he seemed to do it with such graceful ease it'd make a gymnast jealous.
