AS ANGEL AND NICO MADE THEIR WAY back inside of Hades castle, they were both pleasantly surprised when they weren't struck down the second they dared step foot inside. They were both sure they were probably going to be struck down the second they walked inside after pulling such a stunt. Though they didn't want to push their luck by questioning it, so they made their way back towards their shared room. They knew better than to try and start their convincing tonight, they were already on thin ice, why try to break it? They would just wait a little bit, probably until the morning, before they start to pester him.

That left Angel and Nico with a lot of time on their hands to themselves. Nico was laid belly first on the bed, his chin rested in the palm of his hand while Angel seemed t be messing around, practicing some old circus stunt as he walked around the room on his hands, his body held in a handstand as he easily made his way around the room as part of his warm up.

Nico watched him with a small smile poking at his lips as he was reminded of the first day they had met. Angel had pulled out the same trick on him that day and had chased him around the tent the hunters had set up for them in an attempt to cheer him up. It worked as he remembered the laughter they shared. His eyes softened at the memory, he missed when things were so simple. He missed when he could look at Angel and see that bright and smiley boy that held no flaws, the one that seemed to be the suns incarnate, the one Nico sworn was an angel sent from heaven to save and protect him.
