BY THE TIME THEY MADE IT BACK TO THE CLIFF,  it seemed like Mrs. O'Leary had found a friend.

A cozy campfire crackled in a ring of stones and Angel felt a grin form on his lips as he spotted the girl sitting criss cross next to Mrs. O'Leary, scratching the hellhounds ears. It was her, the only Goddess he actually liked. Hestia, his all time favorite goddess.

She looked towards them as she poked the fire before her with a stick, "Hello," She greeted them, a motherly smile painting her lips, making Angel instantly feel more at ease at the sight of it.

Angel grinned as he gave her a bow, Nico following in his lead, "Hello again, my Lady."

"I've missed you!" Angel grinned waving towards her as he padded over to her, plopping down by her side near the fire, accidently dragging Nico along with him as their hands were still connected.

Hestia smiled as they took her side, sitting beside her, her eyes falling on their hands and her smile widened as she thought back to one of Aphrodite's rants and smiled further. Glancing away from them, her eyes landed on Percy, "Sit as well, Percy Jackson," She said. "Would you like some dinner?"

Hestia waved her hand and a picnic appeared at the edge of the fire and Angel's grin widened at the sight of food. Though as he reached forward he realized his hand was taken by something making him look down and his eyes widen as he realized he was still holding Nico's hand. His eyes snapped up, meeting Nico's as their faces went a light pink as they dropped their grip on the others hand. Angel gave a nervous laugh as he turned away, moving towards the food as he ignored the nauseous feeling that filled his stomach as he stuffed his plate with food.
