CHAPTER 0011. ANGEL LOSES WHAT HE NEEDED MOST

OVER THE COURSE of the next few days, Angel and Nico were inseparable. The only times they weren't together were when they were assigned different duties around camp, which sadly was pretty common since Angel didn't like kitchen duty and preferred cleaning up the stables with Will while Nico preferred kitchen duty with Connor and Travis.
Most of the time when Angel and Nico were together, Connor and Travis tagged along, though sometimes Silena did as well, so the five were pretty close, especially Silena and Nico after Silena found out that Nico knows how to do hair from his sister and enjoyed it. She took him under her wing and taught him more about hair and dragged Angel into their little lessons. Angel didn't mind, in fact, he liked them just because it was nice to see Nico branching out even if it was only slightly.
Angel did everything in his power to keep Nico in high spirits while his sister was away, it was hard when Angel's nightmares were getting worse and it seemed like Nico's were as well. But that didn't stop him from never letting a dull moment happen during their time together. Angel got good at sneaking them in and out of the cabin at night, sneaking past the Harpies that guarded them, and snuck them to their spot on their hil under the stars. The two had set up a little camp ground to sleep in with a little tent, blankets, pillows, and snacks that Angel had stolen from the kitchen during the few times he had kitchen duty.
