ANGEL RUSHED FORWARD, CATCHING SIGHT OF Percy fighting against a Hyperborean giant as they stood before the entrance of the Empire State Building. Percy was probably trying to follow Kronos, same as Angel. Beside him the second giant breathed frost at Annabeth and Angel's eyes widen as he realized she couldn't dodge in time. He reacted before anyone could blink as he appeared before Annabeth, wrapping an arm around her waist as he tugged her out of the way. His free hand throwing his dagger just as Thalia sliced her hunter knives across his monstrous blue neck as they created the world's largest headless ice sculpture.

"Angel..." Annabeth breathed in shock as her hands were rested on his chest as she balanced herself from the sudden tug. She stared at him in silent awe as he caught his daggers just as Thalia tossed them back to him.

He glanced back at her, giving a smile as he noticed they were finally the same height with Angel now being 5'7. "Hey, you look like shit."

Annabeth couldn't help but tear up in the slightest at the sight of him, she hadn't seen the boy since last summer and then they were on bad terms due to their fight, even now she wasn't sure what terms they may be on or how Angel may have felt about her. In that moment though, she didn't care as she threw her arms around him, pulling him into a tight hug. "You're okay! Thank the Gods you're okay!"
