FOR THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS, Angel went out of his way to never let him be alone for longer than he had to. He couldn't risk it and was terrified of his own thoughts consuming him. It worked for the most part, in the daytime at least as Angel and Nico would fill their days with countless activities and actions.
They had made it to Costa Rica, which was the next place that was on their travel list as Angel thought the place was absolutely beautiful. Though his plan didn't work so much in the night. Sure his nightmares hadn't started up again, he hadn't been sleeping enough for that to happen, but that didn't mean that his thoughts weren't worse than the nightmares.
His thoughts were beginning to drive him insane. They were constantly filled with memories he'd rather forget, but it was like every time this would happen, Nico would appear. Thank the gods for Nico Di Angelo, he truly was godsent.
It was like he knew something was happening to him in the night as he's also tried his best to stay up as well as he could the past few nights. He wouldn't let Angel deal with whatever was bothering him alone and he showed that to him constantly without much hesitation. He would stay up with him throughout the night, sometimes they would just spend the entire time talking about just everything and nothing as they laid around on their bed.
