ANGEL IGNORED EVERY call of his name as he dived into the pit after Jason. Jason's wide eyes locked with his as he reached down, gripping onto Jason's extended hand and pulled him into his chest as Angel blinked the two of them back to the surface. He cursed as he and Jason collided harshly with the ground due to the speed they had been going down. He panted as Jason fell on top of him and he yelped as he did so.
Jason rolled off of him, staring towards the boy in complete shock. "You just saved me..."
Angel turned to look at him like he was stupid, blinking a couple of times, "No fucking duh." He panted out as he shook his head. "God, you can fly... why did I forget that. Why did I do that? You did not need saving."
Jason couldn't help but let out a light laugh as Piper and Nico both rushed to their sides without hesitation, both of their eyes wide with horror and fear at the fact that their hearts had dropped at seeing the two go down in the hole. They both had believed for a moment that they had lost the two to Tartarus just as they had Percy and Annabeth, but thank the gods that they hadn't.
The two pulled the blond and lavender haired boy to their feet as they were all encircled by a ring of Cyclopes and hellhounds. Angel frowned as he was backed to back with the others as more monsters kept continuously pouring in from the side corridors, while gryphon wheeled and flew overhead, undeterred by the crumbling floor.
