ANGEL DIDN'T SPEAK MUCH as they ventured their way through the dark, gloomy halls of the Dungeon of Erebos

ANGEL DIDN'T SPEAK MUCH as they ventured their way through the dark, gloomy halls of the Dungeon of Erebos. He was oddly silent since his reminder that they needed to go and get Percy, silent in a way that unsettled Nico. If not for the grip that Angel had kept on the back of his jacket since they had left, not once letting go, he wouldn't have known whether or not Angel was still even beside him.

It wasn't like Angel even needed to be quiet either. He didn't need to stay silent, he could have been whispering his stupidly sarcastic little comments while Nico would take out any skeleton that even tried to interrupt his little rants. He would have loved to be hearing them, even if he claimed otherwise, they cheered him on, made him more confident, not now through, he was just silent, just walking behind him holding onto his jacket (it was actually Angel's) in a weirdly strong grip that Nico couldn't break out of if he tried.

What made Nico even more concerned was that he wasn't even looking at him. He didn't even glance up any time that Nico would look back to make sure he was okay. His eyes never left the ground, not once noticing Nico's concerned frown focusing on him.

Angel's mind was far too preoccupied with his own thoughts to notice Nico's attempts at catching his attention. His thoughts continuously replaying his last nightmare in confusion. It's never gone further than his mother leading him towards the Big Tent and speaking to him a bit. Why was it so suddenly showing him so much more? Why was he suddenly being forced to relive everything he tried so desperately to leave behind? Why couldn't he just get the regular Demigod nightmares about quests and stuff like everyone else? Why'd he have to have these stupid flashbacks? It wasn't fair.
