ANGEL WASN'T SURE THERE WAS another time he could name in which he felt more grateful for the God of the dead than he had in that moment. There was also a small part of him that he wished he could deny that felt almost special when Hades had claimed Angel as one of his own so easily.

He could feel Nico rest a hand on his leg as the duo both sat criss cross on the ground at Hades feet. Angel glanced over to look at him, his eyes softening as he smiled at Nico's attempt at silently reassuring him. Nico's face softened as well before Angel looked up and away as he made eye contact with Hermes who was sat across from them, glaring towards them. Angel hid his true emotions behind a smirk as he waved back at him teasingly, he refused to let the God know he got to him in any way.

Zeus was just about ready to start the council before he looked around, taking notice about the fact that they were still currently missing one more God. "POSEIDON!" He roared. He looked around angrily, catching sight of him as he noticed the God talking a bit away with his son, Percy Jackson. "Well, Poseidon?" Zeus grumped at his brother. "Are you too proud to join us in council, my brother?"

Angel held back a snort as he noticed the way Percy seemed to flush under the attention of all the Gods on him and his father. He leaned his chin onto his palm as he watched on. He decided then that he refused to let Hermes have any kind of hold on him, he didn't deserve to have any effect on him nor his mood, so he just wasn't going to let him.
