ANGEL LET OUT A LOUD YAWN as he stretched his arms above his head, his fingers were lacing and he winced upon hearing the sound of his knuckles cracking. Nico snorted as he eyed him from the corner of his eye as they were stood at the bottom of Temple Hill back in Camp Jupiter. It had been almost 6 whole months since Percy had gone missing and Angel hasn't had it in him to go back to Camp Half-Blood since the day Annabeth came crying to him. He stayed with her for the first two days, but he and Nico left to start searching for him when she got a dream to go to a canyon and since then, the two boys haven't returned.
Angel talked to Annabeth and his brothers occasionally on Iris Message, but never more than a few minutes as something seemed to be happening over at Camp Half-Blood that they weren't exactly telling Angel and Nico about. Something about new kids or something, Angel didn't really pay too much attention to it if he was being honest.
The past few months have been hard on him as it's been harder to hold back his thoughts and Luke seems to be appearing around him more. He feels like he's going crazy and he knew that Nico could tell something was going on with him but Angel refused to open up about it. He couldn't tell Nico about this, not yet, not until he found some way to get it under control.
But still, he continued to push aside his downhill mental health journey as he looked towards Nico, grinning at him as he noticed the soft look the dark haired boy was giving him. Angel opened his mouth to start to speak but was cut off rather quickly as Hazel appeared on the top of the hill alongside someone else they couldn't spot as she called out to them.
