Hunter Black

I was in bed with the girl of my and my wolfs dreams in my arm. She was snoring softy, I kept caressing her hair and kissing her forehead... I just couldn't get enough of her specially after she reciprocated her feelings for me. I had won many battles , many fights but the battle I won today was my greatest achievement till date.... I had won the trust of my mate and had made her fall in love with me. I was brought out of my daze by the buzzing of my phone. It was Ethan. I quietly slipped out from the bed, keeping her hands on the pillow, she was hugging me and would have woke up if I moved.... It took a huve struggle but I broke free.
Once I was in the living room I attended the call.
"Yes ethan, bark" I said irritadly that I had to be seperated from lizzy to attend this call
"Sorry alpha to call you this late but it's urgent. Gorden was speaking I'll about luna and when I confronted him and tried to reason with him, he just left the pack" He said.
"Speaking ill, tell me every thing now" I said. I thought everyone was okay with lizzy
"Alpha.... " He said and told me everything
"I see... So lizzy will have to prove that she is trust worthy.... What do you suggest? " I asked
"Alpha I would suggest to begin by marking her, it will allow her thoughts to easily pass through everyone's head and she would feel much more closer to us and you. We can then begin by renowing the bonds she was beginning to form with the pack in the party..... If we crown her luna that day... The pack would feel much more safer. I mean after she is luna, harming us would be tough because of the strong connections she will have will have with us" He said
"Are you doubting her? " I asked
"No alpha.... I can never doing her..... I mean to say that the pack would feel safer and would trust her easily" He said
"But..... How will I tell lizzy this... She'll feel really bad" I said, thinking about how she would feel when I told her all this.
"She will understand alpha... Your just going to have to ease her into this" He said and I sighed
"Keep close tabs on gorden.... He might be onto something" I said
"Yes alpha.... Goodnight" He said
"Good night ethan" I said. Ever since Ethan became my beta, we became very close friends... He became a good advisor and also a good support system. I k ew I could trust him and knew he would only tell me what was right and I knew that if he was saying that marking lizzy and crowning her luna was the only way to regain the packs trust then... I had to do it. Now convincing lizzy was going to be tough.
I was waiting impatiently at the door.... Lizzy had still not come out. Deciding I couldn't wait anymore I walked back to the room. She said she only needed 5minutes but she took a freaking half an hour. I walked in the room and saw her lost in her thoughts. What was she thinking? Gods I needed to mark her so I could listen to her thoughts and feel her feelings. She was sitting at the dressing table... Looking ravishing in the black jumpsuit.. Light make up and neat brown curls resting softly on her shoulders. Clearing my throat bring ging both ber and me out of our thoughts I spoke
"Ready? We have to meet the gang at the mall at 3 and you know I am very punctual. " I said
"Yep I am ready" She said..
She was just about to walk out the bedroom door when I...rather my wold back hugged her. Resting my arms on her waist I spoke ever so close to her ears
"You know we could always cancel the shopping spree and have some fun at home... " I whispered
"As much as that sounds tempting Hunter.... I want to know your pack so that I can understand them and protect them along side you" She said. I was happy to. Know that she was willing to. Work along side me.... It will become easier I mean there is always a lot of paper work to do.
"Shopping spree works like that? "I asked confused. I mean there were better ways to bond than to shop
"Well it's the best way to bond with your beta's mate and Gamma's mate" She said
"Fine but when we get back.... I want to bite you "I said casually,causing her to choke
"What! " She whiper yelled
"Yeah I mean... You accepted me as your mate so biting you would be me placing g my claim over you and would act like a warning to the other men that your taken and... Will also help calm my wolf and on top of all this.... I will feel more closer to you" I said
"Okaaaay. But how will you feel closer to me after biting me.... It's not like you'll be reading my mind or feeling my emotions or.... " She said
"Biting you will actually help me experience both your emotion and thoughts.... Same for you as well" I said smugly
"Wait so I will have to bite you as well? " She asked and I shook my head. Are you sure she knew all about ourkind
"No. You won't. If you were a wolf you would have had to but... Since your human.... You won't" I said and she nodded.
We drove in silence and spent the entire day in the mall. When we were in the cafe, unexpected things happened which made my blood boil and wolf angry.
We took the table at the back of the cafe where we would have some private time with our family. We had just settle down when the ewaiter took our orders.
A while after the waiter changed into a waitress who was by gods the worst. She was flirtatious and I was getting uncomfortable. I saw that lizzy was alos balling her fists into a punch, her jaw was clenched and clearly she wasn't liking the waitress.
"Can I get you something else? " She asked in a fake sweet voice. Ugh please lady it ain't working.
"No thank you " Lizzy said turning the waitresses attention to her. Jealous in her tone
"What about you sir" asked waitress turning to me again. I fwlft lizzy shoot daggers through her eyes. I had to diffuse the situation, I smiled sweetly st lizzy and took her hands, without breaking eye contact with lizzy I spoke to the waitress
"No thank you, but I would appreciate if you stopped flirting with me.... I am already taken"I said , forever and ever
I felt lizzy relax. The waitress fumed at lizzy , and as she left she 'accidentally' knocked a hot coffee on her
"Owww" Lizzy said standing up followed by the others... I glared at the waiter, no one hurts my mate
"I'll be back" Lizzy said hurrying to the washroom with me right behind her
"You okay?... Does it hurt.... That waiter loses her job today" I said as I helped her clean her dress and make sure that she had no burn marks
"It just hurts... I don't think anything serious has happened.... Luckily the coffee was warm..." She said and I nodded. I don't think she was telling the truth... It must be hurting bad. I was fuming from the inside and dangerously calm from the outside
Once we cleaned up and I had made sure she was not hurt, I walked over to the cashier with lizzy next to me
"May i help you sir? " Asked the cashier
"I would like to speak to the manager" I said. I was a regular customer and that waitress was new and was now going to be an ex waitress
A few moments later the manager came
"Everything alright Mr black" He asked
"No... Your waiter... Ina schrudinger just dropped some hot coffee on my girl ... Purposely which could have seriously injured her.... She is lucky that Elizabeth isn't hurt" I said angrily
"I am so sorry sir.... I will make sure this never happens" He said
"It won't.... Because you lost your regular customer today" I said before taking her hand and walking out with the others behind us. I don't give a second chance when the safety of lizzy is concerned.
"You sure your okay? " I asked
"Hunter I am fine" She said and I nodded before pulling her into a hug and smelt her... Trying to calm my wolf down
"Ugh hunter.... What are you doing? "She asked confused
" Calming myself down " I said and continued to sniff her. Tasty.A few moments later I let go.... Only for a while

Once we were back home I led lizzy to the room, she went to change while I paced back and forth. It's now or never.... I need to tell her everything.... No hiding the truth
She came out and sat in the bed and was just about to lie down when I spoke
"We need to speak lizzy...... Regarding the pack and your status"I said.
