The Luna crowning ceremony was tomorrow and hence today I was told to try out the dress and the crown and hence that was exactly what I was doing.
I stood in front of the mirror wearing my Luna crowning ceremony dress, I still had the stitches and hence I was told to take it easy at the ceremony tomorrow. I started at the angry scars and cuts
"Is there not way to hide these damn cuts, it's ruining the final look" I said to myself but apparently Hunter heard me
"Well, if I lick the wound they will heal faster" He said
"How? " I asked
"Warewolf saliva has healing powers which work on their human mate as well" He said
"Uh does it mean Xavier will take control of you and that i will have to deal with a big black wolf again? " I asked
"Yep" He said popping the p
"Okay, I guess, Xavier is cute and really really nice unlike you who literally has no time for me" I said
"What do you mean by I have no time for you, darling I also have time for you" He said
"Oh really..... It's been two days since the attack and I have been lying in bed all day, how many minutes have you stayed beside me? Barely an hour a day..... You hardly even sleep next to me. Have I done something wrong? Are you angry at me and trying to avoid me? " I asked
Yeah I was moody right now, bloody periods make me moody. I was craving chocolate and a hot water bottle and some comfort from Xavier or hunter
"Of course not... It's nothing you have done actually...... Gorden escaped our men and now is on the run...I... I am a bit caught up in tightening the security of the pack and palace " He said
Did he say palace..... Where did a palace come from?
"Palace?? " I asked. He never mentioned about a palace
"Uh yeah..... About that..... I forgot to mention to you that apart from being an alpha..... I am a king..... So when you will be crowned Luna...... You'll also be crowned. Queen" He said smiling sheepishly and scratching the back of his neck
"WHAT!!!! How does one forget to tell that!!!!!! " I said turning around, causing me lose my balance and almost fall.... Luckily I caught myself by taking support from the dressing table next to me. Hunter was next me in an instant... Wolf speed
"You okay? " He asked
"Okay? I am so not okay. You forgot to tell me that your a king.... A day before the ceremony I get to know that after that I will be a Queen and I would have an entire kingdom of God knows how many packs to look after..... So you see Hunter I am not okay...... I terrified and pissed. " I said angrily
"Uh 30 packs each of 600 wolves each and one Royal pack... The pack we are currently staying with consisting of 1000+ wolves " He said
I gave him a 'are you serious' look and turned back into the closet and ripped the dress off, changed into something comfy and stormed out of the room ignoring Hunters calls to find ethan.... He was my best friend how could he not tell me. He is so dead.
"Ethan Jordan Black.... Your luna commands you to show yourself now! " I screamed. I watched as the entire pack house stood still and bowed their heads baring their necks to me. I would have felt odd but right now I didn't bother.... I was hell angry. Hunter came up behind me and looked around. He tried to wrap his arms around me but one glare and angry growl from me and he backed off. Did I just growl....i dont think that's norma.l.i am nit a wolf ot an animal as far as I can remember.Ethan appeared thirty seconds later
"Luna" He said bowing respectivly
"Everyone back to work, I want to talk to the beta alone" I said. Seconds later it was me, Ethan and Hunter standing in the corridor.
"Hunter I said alone.. Which means not even you will be staying here.... Actually leave it Ethan follow me" I said
Hunter growled
"Ethan stop.... Lizzy I am the alpha you can't command me to go away" He said
"Yes I can.... I am the Luna..... Your equal... So I can command you Hunter" I said.
"You have not been crowned Luna yet....i can strip you from the title if your not worthy and you'll just be a human" He said angrily. That hurt, he thought i wasnt worthy of being his mate.. His equal of his wife. He thought I was just a mere wolf hunter and nothing more
"Oh so your going for that..... Fine then..... Ethan as a friend just follow me.... There is no need for you to follow my command..... After all I am not a Luna... Just a mere human... Destined to be his mate that is if he thinks I am worthy. I bet if it wasn't for the mates bond.... He might not have even been I interested in me.... Hunter just tell me are you stuck with me just because of the mate bond ....are any of your feeling real or are you just expecting an heir for your bloody throne? " I asked. I started off angry but towards the end, traitor tears were falling. I watched Ethan slowly walk away. Okay so even Ethan was only a friend to me because I was their future queen... Not because he was actually willing to be my friend. Everyone here must be fake... All wolves are the same. Selfish.
I turned around wiping my tears, walking back when someone grabbed my wrist
"Lizzy... " Said Hunter softly
"Just listen to me once. All that I said about stripping you off your title and you just being a mere human was because I was angry... The alpha blood didn't like being told off of being ordered. I am sorry for saying that but please don't walk away without You both me and xavier would die. Your the air we breathe and the very reason why we live. You wanted to know whether it was not for the mate bond would I be attracted to you, then the answer is yes I would still have been attracted to you. The day I saw you at the meeting I instantly was attracted to you... Your aura is such. It attracts anyone . You make everyone around you calm. The entire pack before you arrived was a mess, I was a mess.... If I recount on the number of times I killed and tortured prisoners for fun then it would cross 100, but the day you arrived into my life.... I wanted to change.... Change for you... I wanted to become a better person for you and I am still trying to improve. Your a natural born Luna and a natural born queen. I have seen you fight... The pack has seen you fight... Your not just a mere human.... Your a life changer human... The love of life and the light of the pack and the future queen of the wolf kingdom. I am so sorry for the way in just spoke to you about you being unworthy.... I'm sorry.... Please forgive me, forgive me for forgetting to tell you that I am a king... Forgive me for shouting at you and forgive me for hurting your feelings"he said looking down. He was looking g so upset and guilty. How could I stay mad at him when he looks so cute and handsome. I also made a mistake by talking go him angry... I should have talked to him calmly.. I mean to tell me he had to find a moment but since the time we met we have been going through so many hurdles.
"Only if you forgive me for talking to you like I did.... I should have calmly sorted out my problems with you instead of going crazy" I said
"I guess we both were wrong and I don't blame you for shouting at me, I mean I guess you are having mood swings due to your periods. " He said and I nodded
"Uh how did you know about my periods" I asked
"I am a warewolf hunny.... I smelt the blood and your hormone and realised it in the morning itself that's why I have sent ethan to go and get you some chocolates and a hot water bottle for the cramps. If you want we can cuddle in our room... Ethan will bring everything upstairs? " He asked and I nodded.
The next thing I knew was that I was being scooped up and being carried to our bed by Hunter.
"So now are we good? " I asked and he nodded
He laid me onto the bed and climbed in after me cuddling me. I was just about to drift to sleep when the cramps came back. Just as I was about to get up to get some painkillers , someone knocked on the door
"Come in Ethan" Said Hunter.
Ethan walked in with a tray of yummy chocolates, dark, light, milk, mint, caramel, name the chocolate and it was there, he handed Hunter the hot water bottle, which hunter handed to me, I gladly took it and kept it on my abdomen and sighed in relief.
"Luna... You wanted to tell me something earlier? "Asked Ethan and I nodded
" Why in the world did you not tell me that Hunter is a king and this is a Royal pack.? " I asked
"I thought alpha told you" He said looking at alpha and then me
"He didn't... If he forgot to mention it... You should have told me.... I am your best friend right? " I said
"Of course Elizabeth... I mean Luna your my bestest of best friend" He said and I nodded
"Call me Lizzy" I said and he nodded.
As Ethan got up to leave the room, capser walked in
"Hi girl.. I missed you " I said as she curled up between hunter and me. Hunter glared at her
"Casper sit over here... This big bad wolfie wants to cuddle me" I said shifting casper to my left side so that I was between the two animals. I looked at the tray of chocolates and picked one and began eating. I took a bite and them offered some to Hunter, who took a bite as well.
"Mhmmm, these are good" He said
"Yup" I said
"Hey... How many people would be present tomorrow at the time for the crowning" I asked
" Uh the entire pack and the rest of the kingdoms"he said.
My eyes widened
"Arnt they so many..... How will I deal with everyone" I said
"Darling I'll be there... Don't sweat " He said and I nodded. I was still not sure about having so many people at rhe ceremony but I guess I would have Hunter with me helping me at every step. Smiling I enjoyed the comfort of his arms, the yummy taste of chocolate and the heat from the hot water bottle on my abdomen. Oh also the shoulder massage hunter was giving.
