"Where are the maknaes?" Della asked the newcomers. She's usually extra early when it comes to dance practices. She likes to warm up by doing some additional dancing.
It is her first love after all.
"Not sure where Jungwon is but Niki and Sunoo will be here in a bit," Sunghoon answered. The hyung-oppa line all stored their belongings before joining Della in stretching.
"What are you going to dance to today?" Heeseung looked up at her with sparkly eyes. The boys all gathered to sit in front of the mirror, as they always do when they want to watch her.
"I kinda wanna do a cover dance so I'm thinking about 'I Can't Stop Me,'" Della walked over to the computer to play the music.
She tightened the string of her basketball shorts and walked to the centre of the room.
"Jakey," she signaled that she wants to throw him her cap.
"Oh shit.." Jay mumbled. She wants to do this one with her hair loose.
'The alarm has gone off, ring-a-ling,' that's when she started dancing.
The four boys watched her body cleanly hit all the moves. It's quite refreshing to see her do feminine girl group dances as she's always doing very powerful ones.
"Ooh," they all said in unison, followed by Sunghoon's hiss when she did Sana's part.
"Wah, I didn't realise how sexy the dance is," Heeseung muttered. His eyes were stuck on her long legs for a few seconds. He has a feeling that she's gotten taller.
"Yeah, did she change it? I don't remember it being sexy at all?" Jay wiped his nose, looking away while licking his lips.
"It's exactly the same. It's just 'cause it's Lala," Jake crossed his arms. "We're lucky she's focused on the dancing."
Oh if Della wasn't focused and let herself enter that headspace whenever she's performing, they'd be screwed.
Sunghoon was quiet the whole time. He was just.. focused.
She stopped her dancing when the chorus ended. She ran a hand through her hair and furrowed her eyebrows.
The four boys jumped when they heard applause coming from the entrance. The others have arrived.
"Nicee, Lala!" Sunoo complimented with a large grin after she turned off the music.
"Wah, we haven't seen you do a girl group dance in so long," Jungwon smiled.
"Wasn't I a bit stiff?" she ran her hand down her body.
"No, not at all," Riki assured.
"You weren't here from the beginning though," she pushed him lightly. "If I was a bit stiff, I was thinking about starting ove-"
"Yeah! Yeah!" "Yeah!" "You were slightly stiff" "Just slightly" "You should definitely do it again" "You should start again," the hyung-oppa line's words were overlapping on top of each other.
