(Y/N) couldn't help but feel downcast.

Currently, she was sitting down at the table in Dalia's kitchen while said girl and her boyfriend were gone to look at potential jobs. Running a hand through her hair, she propped her elbow on the table and contemplated what to do.

Before, Sam mentioned...

She exhaled softly, thinking back to how scared her friend was.

Well... anyways, before, she suggested that to catch this guy, I would need to thoroughly analyze how they act and also how they'd respond to things.

Tapping her fingers against the table in a rhythmic motion, she groaned and bumped her head softly on the table in exasperation, closing her eyes as she tried to remain positive. Flinching when the doorbell rang, she stood up to go open the door—not expecting anybody—and was surprised to find a white envelope sitting on the doorstep.

She felt her blood turn to ice.

"I-It could just be mail..." she murmured as she bent to pick it up, looking around to find anybody, but the area devoid of any life forms.

Closing the door, she saw that her name was scrawled along the surface in a beautiful flow of ink, her fingers trembling softly as she opened it and took out the letter, something heavy also falling into the palm of her hand.

What's this?

A... key?

Cocking her head at the rather unusual object—the first she had received other than chocolates and other small gifts—she then unfolded the letter:

     My Dearest (Y/N),

I am aware that my little visit to your friend's house was rather... surprising to you. To me as well, since I usually don't make such hasty decisions. But... it was much harder to access her home than yours, though nothing would ever be able to stop me from finding you. As I'm sure you've noticed, I left a small key in the envelope that also contained this letter. Since you so badly want to find me, I've decided to provide you a little hint. Go to Lu's Storage Facility and open door 135. Until next time, my love.

- S

Biting her lip, surprised that this person even revealed something about themself, she quickly grabbed her keys and rushed to her car, surprising Jeffrey who was just waking through the door.

"(Y/N), where are you going?" He asked, setting down the bags of grocery's he had been out getting. "And alone...?"

"I received another letter," she reported, showing him the piece of paper which he skimmed briefly, noting the key for the facility gripped tightly in one of her hands. "And I intend to go find out exactly what is in this place."

"What? No!" He exclaimed, giving her a look. "I don't want you anywhere near where this person might've been."

    "But—"

"No," he cut her off, closing the door behind him and locking it, feeling his lips curl upward in annoyance he crushed the note and threw it away. "And that's final."
