I pause from my work and begin considering how things would go if I were to Teleport from my current position which is several meters into a deposit of jade I happened upon when setting up the Water section. Probably not well.

My original intent was to scratch it free from the surrounding rock in order to take it in as one whole item, but it seems that has to wait for now.

With an uncanny adeptness, I manoeuvre the bizarre space that is solid rock. In the few days I've been using this method, I've learnt that even the smallest aberration within the same chunk of mineral makes for a foothold. Instead of relying on Hover, I'm now more like a tree-dwelling octopus, swinging between the tiniest inconsistencies in the World.

Once free from the bedrock, I Teleport back to my den. Yggdrasil's Avatar is waiting, along with the Kyanite Muskox.

"Your Highness! With the birth of the new child of Yggdrasil, the Divine have bestowed upon me the name Norori. I eagerly await our pilgrimage." The Muskox is elated, their voice in my head chipper and full of energy.

It's a stark contrast to the worn look on Yggdrasil. Creating offspring back to back like this must be a massive undertaking.

"Just one more left, now. Once I've created the last one, I fear I will have to go dormant for a while. My children will be able to perform the infusion by themselves, so don't worry about that." She gives a tired sigh as she hands me the newly created sapling.

It looks like a yew sapling, though the leaves are a snowy white colour and cold to the touch. The exposed roots seem to have a life of their own, occasionally flailing about as if seeking something to grab. When I nestle the sapling against my chest, supporting it with one arm, the roots quickly latch onto it with shocking strength.

"What a fierce child this is..." I grimace, lathering my arm in Hagfish Mucous to slide the iron-gripped roots off of my arm without harming the plant. Readjusting my grip, I unceremoniously hold it by the base of the trunk, taking care to keep it at arms length away from anything it might decide to grab.

Yggdrasil gives an apologetic smile before fading away. Sighing, I turn to Norori. "Come then, stand close to me."

The Kyanite Muskox obeys, and together we Teleport to the Crimsnow Glacier.

<Master! Oh Master~!>

The excited shouts of Bloody Mary immediately fill my head. Combined with the dizziness from using so much MP at once, I fight the desire to shout at them to be quiet. Glancing around me, I notice that much of the snow is cleared in a rectangular area. It's also cordoned off with what looks like ropes woven from dried grass.

Logs in various stages of processing are strewn about willy-nilly. There might be some sort of system to it, but I'm not seeing it at a glance.

The feeling of ice cold water pooling around my torso snaps me back into reality. Bloody Mary has wiggled onto land, and is in the process of snuggling up to me.

"Listen, listen! After you left, I thought about what I could do to help, but I can't talk to everyone like you do... But then! But then! I tried to remember what it felt like to talk with your Skill, and guess what! I learnt Telepathy!" Bloody Mary is excitedly babbling, completely oblivious to the increasingly incensed Norori beside us.

"Have some care, you soggy oaf! You'll damage the Sapling!" Norori exclaims. Oh, she was more concerned with the Sapling than with me...

Only now taking notice of the mammaloid, Bloody Mary slinks away from me, her physiology making it impossible to tell at a glance her emotions, but my Telepathy tells me she's annoyed by the interruption.
