I hurried to put my hair in a ponytail and start getting ready for the day. I quickly made some breakfast and then ran back to my bedroom to brush my teeth.

Instead of walking into a dark bedroom like I had left it my husband was sitting straight up with the lights on and arms folded.

"Warren." I raised my eyebrows. He pouted and looked at me.

"Love, we've talked about this." He grumbled. I couldn't hide the smile on my face.

"You don't like waking up alone." I said softly before coming closer to the bed and sitting on the side. He grabbed me by the waist and pulled me into his chest.

"Yeah." He mumbled into my hair. I drew soft circles on his bare and tattooed chest.

"I have work." I said.

"I know." He said, but his grip around me tightened.

"I'll see you after." I pulled back a little and stared into his dark brown eyes and ran a hand through his soft dark hair.

"Okay." He had a soft smile on his face now. I kissed his forehead and smiled.

"I love you." I waved to him as I started to leave.

"I love you more." Was the last thing I heard him say before running out the door.
