I pushed the cart up and down the aisles as my wife jumped from side to side grabbing anything she thought we needed. I tried to avoid running over her heels in the process.
"Is that all we need?" I asked and she tilted her head as she looked at the list in her hand again. She had a concentrated look on her face and I just watched her. Her soft brown hair and her dark blue eyes.
"I think so. Do you think I forgot something?" She turned to me with a finger on her chin and I couldn't help but fall in love more every time she looked at me.
"Maybe some chocolate." I suggested. She gave me her usual beautiful smile before leading me to the candy aisle. Instead of walking in front of me like she had been doing she walked beside me and wrapped her hand around one my arm.
"Which one should we get?" She asked and I looked at her and kissed her forehead.
"You choose." She had a small smile on her face and picked out a small bag of Hershey kisses.
"Okay. I think that's it." She glanced over the list again.
"No I think I'm forgetting something." Her head snapped up when I said that. Confused.
"What? But I already checked the list and-"
"It's not on the list." I said and she turned to me with a slightly annoyed look on her face.
"What is it?" She put her hands on her hips and scowled a little.
"Oh come here." I pulled her closer to me by the waist and kissed her nose.
"Is that all?" She raised an eyebrow. I couldn't help but chuckle and gave her a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Yes. Now I think we've got everything." She wrapped her arms around my neck and smiled.
"I love you." She said.
"I love you too." I kissed her softly.
