Once losing the route of tranquility, there's always a hard time coming back to the track of good terms.

The Kim Kingdom had lost it a long ago to even have a hand of support from any other kingdoms and the Park kingdom would never be the one to do so.

The Park kingdom was in hustle starting by the day. They knew they'd get a reply from the Kim officials the following day and they couldn't help but wait.

The Prince and his ministers were in the court by the morning, desperately waiting for their response. They made sure to keep everything under scrutiny until they got their much awaited response.

The day usually began with them trying to have a peaceful meal together to start their day because who knows what the future holds, would they even have this peaceful meal for a while or not.

Princess Min Yoonji was also ready to give as much as help as possible, also planning to send her men to bring back the performers the Kims have trapped inside but what they were about to know would shake the world beneath their feet.

It wasn't any usual morning for the Kims. It was more like a disaster, a bolt out of blue. As if an unexpected thunderbolt taking the kingdom by wonder.

Words were not enough to describe the shock everyone was going through because that was something no one expected to wake up.

Just when the daylight shone upon their palace, creating a commotion for every servant, there was suddenly something no one had the heart to believe.

The daylight wasn't enough to lighten the darkness of the kingdom when Prince Jin woke up to this news and rushed to their room right in the moment.

He quite knew the reason and that's why he couldn't sleep all night. Despite everything the king was his father, his superior and the one from whom he got his name.

But that wasn't the only shock for him because rushing to their room he found the caretaker of the kingdom and the medical supervisors with dull faces and heads hung low to see both King and Queen with eyes closed on the bed.

And a pause.

Jin couldn't take a step forward from there anymore, as if his entire world collapsed in front of his eyes.

Maybe it was a lie or maybe it was just a nightmare he didn't wake up to. But he knew to all his senses he was fully awake.

His beloved mother left him as well.

Tears continued falling as he froze, hand extended forward to reach out to them but there was no point of it, they had said goodbye.

Everything in the kingdom was hustled but the room was still, everyone there looking at the dead pair were still.

The guards were armless, the servants were out of service, the palace was out of their highness.

Jin couldn't believe what he was seeing, his legs were giving up on him but he tried his best to drag his feet towards the bed, kneeling down besides the edge of it as he watched his mother with his teary blurred eyes.

The whimpering lips and quivering hands of the prince extended to be against her cold cheek, just when the prince felt the essence of her lifeless pale skin, he couldn't help but burst into sobs.

She had left him too soon.

He cried with all his heart out, screaming on top of his lungs as he put his head onto her chest to feel a little more, just a little bit.

"Ma!!!! !!!" The prince kept yelling, sobbing with all that he had in him as he shook her shoulders but the poor queen was not able to hear his cries.

Only if she did, she could have gotten up by then and hugged her crying son because it was the least she wanted to see.
