Chapter - 1

After Wei wuxian and Lan Wangji solve the mystery of yin metal , uncovering evil deeds and proved Wei wuxian's innocence, everything was peaceful in cultivation world. Lan Xichen was appointed as new chief cultivator.

Wei wuxian decided to wander around . He was glad that when he came back his sister wasn't dead .Also Wen Ning , wen Qing and Wen Yuan or Lan Yuan were living well in Gusu. Wen Qing was working as doctor in Gusu Lan sect. He had found a friend and confidante in Lan Wangji.

Wei wuxian was never a soul who would content at one place so even Lan Wangji wanted him to stay , he didn't say anything . Lan Wangji got busy with sect affairs as his brother had got more responsibilities being chief cultivator.

It had been two years since Wei wuxian set out on his journey. He came, a few times , back to visit Lan Wangji, his sister and brother. The relationship between Jiang Cheng and Wei wuxian had become less tense.

Lan Wangji was ,as usual, sitting in library, going through paper work when someone came and announced the arrival of Wei wuxian.

Lan Wangji nodded and the person left after bowing.
Lan Wangji collected the papers , a small smile was adoring his beautiful thin lips. He arranged the table and went out after schooling his expression.

When lan Wangji arrived in yard , he saw a tall , slim figure wrapped in red and black , a flute tucked on his waist, hairs tied in a ponytail with a red ribbon leaving some fringes on both side which caressed the soft cheeks whenever wind blow . He was gently stroking the leaves with his long , slender fingers. His red lips were curved in a beautiful smile.

" Wei Ying." Lan Wangji said softly but enough to hear the other person.

Wei wuxian turned sideways and saw Lan Wangji standing.

" Lan Zhan ! " Wei wuxian said in cheerful voice and gave his beautiful signature smile , showing white pearl teeth.

"Mn" Lan Wangji said.

"This again ,your 'mn' . You will never change , lan Zhan , huh ?." Wei wuxian said coming closer, with laughter in each word .

Lan Wangji gave a small smile to Wei Wuxian which was only for him. Wei Wuxian felt his heart beating seeing Lan Wangji smile.

" Ah ! Lan er gege ! Your smile is so beautiful." Wei wuxian teased.

Lan Zhan shook his head . He was well aware of Wei Wuxian's antics.

" How is Wei Ying ?" Lan Wangji asked.

" I am absolutely fine. Look." Wei wuxian said and took a step back so lan Wangji could see him from head to toe.

Lan Wangji knew Wei wuxian was getting better. At first Wei wuxian was depressed from past events but now he was recovering well. Seeing Wei wuxian like this he felt relieved. Even he knew Wei wuxian hide everything behind his smiling mask but Lan Wangji had learnt to see through the barrier.

" Good." Lan Wangji said.

" How are you , Lan Zhan ? " Wei wuxian asked .

" Fine." Lan Wangji still had a smile on his face.

" Wei Ying's journey ? " Lan Wangji asked.

" I met different people , cultivators and non cultivators. I learnt a lot from others' situation. I also saw some spritual creatures like spiritual fox . I visit some really mesmerizing places. It really helped me in case of my mental stability. " Wei wuxian told truthfully.

Lan Wangji was listening everything . He was glad Wei wuxian had a great experience. He was worried for Wei wuxian . He understood that past experiences had left deep scars on Wei Wuxian heart.
