Chapter - 18

When Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian were coming back, they saw Zhao Yi Ran mixing with crowd in market and they lost his sight.

" He wasn't looking good . Let's find him before he cause trouble." Wei Wuxian said.

" Mn "

Then they went in different directions. Wei Wuxian was looking at each face to find him.

Lan Wangji was also looking. He got the sight of Zhao Yi Ran clothes so he moved in that direction. He found Zhao Yi Ran sitting in a corner and approached him.

" How did you find me ? " Zhao Yi Ran asked.

But Lan Wangji didn't answer.

" I just want to be alone for sometime."

Lan Wangji still didn't spoke.

" I know death of spritual beast doesn't matter as a human death but still their lives are lives too." Zhao Yi Ran said . Pain was afflicted in his voice.

" If one loose control on emotions, he also looses the rationality to make wise decisions. Emotions are good but more than necessary will lead only to a blurred path and steal ability to see the dangers." Lan Wangji spoke in calm but firm voice.

" Is that why Hanguang Jun like this ? " Zhao Yi Ran spoke after a long silence.

No one spoke again.

" You are right,  Hanguang Jun. " Zhao Yi Ran said while looking up. He wasn't looking devasted anymore. There was a determination in his eyes.

"My master always give me sweets when I get sad." Zhao Yi Ran said looking at the candy stall in front.

Lan Wangji glanced at that and moved towards it. He approached and bought few packets. He gave one to Zhao Yi Ran who smiled Widely. He happily took the candies and start eating.

" Thank you "

"Mn "

From far away Wei Wuxian was watching them. He just came for other side and saw the scene when Lan Wangji gave Yi Ran candies and he smiled so brightly.

Wei Wuxian felt sour . He felt his chest burning but didn't know the reason.

" What's wrong with me ? Do I have an illness ? When I go back I'll ask Wen Qing to treat me ." Wei Wuxian mumbled.

Wei Wuxian moved towards them.

" Hey lan Zhan, you found him  " Wei Wuxian said with his bright smile.

" Mn " lan Wangji said looking at Wei Wuxian.

" Zhao gongzi, you shouldn't disappear like this." Wei Wuxian said.

" I apologise for inconvenience ." Yi Ran said.

" It's ok "

" Wei Ying  " Lan Wangji said.

" Yes, lan Zhan." Wei Wuxian turned to Lan Wangji.

Lan Wangji forward him the candies. Wei Wuxian when saw that his burning chest seemed to be at ease.

" Lan Zhan, you are best " Wei Wuxian beamed.
 
After that they went back to sect.

Next morning, Wei Wuxian went to see Sect leader with Lan Wangji and Zhao Yi Ran.

" How can you do it ? Peeking in memories ? "

" It's technique.... um... I learnt" Wei Wuxian answered.

" Don't worry, Wu Guniang will be safe. You can also present there." Wei Wuxian assured.

" But she told you everything ."
