Chapter -34

It's been a weak ,Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian were in celestial mountain. Wei Wuxian was progressing well with his core. In just weak Wei Wuxian developed his core and there is possibility to make it more strong.

Now Wei Wuxian was sparing with Lan Wangji. It's been a while he weilded his Subian with spritual energy. It was such a nice feeling to hold his beloved sword again.

Wei Wuxian was enjoying every moment of sparing with Lan Wangji.

After few hours of sparing, both of them stopped. Wei Wuxian was smiling widely, panting.

" Lan Zhan, I never felt like this ...don't know... since when." Wei Wuxian said . The happiness was clear in his voice.

" Mn " Lan Wangji said with smile in his eyes.

" Alright, you two, it's enough. A'xian, you go back to meditate after drinking this."Immortal Sanren said pointing at the bowl on table.

Wei Wuxian scrunched his nose but sensing the gaze from his grandma , he gulped the whole bowl medicine in one go. Lan Wangji gave him his candies which Wei Wuxian immediately ate.

" Go now " immortal Sanren said.

Wei Wuxian turned to leave but found that Lan Wangji did not get up like any other day.

" Lan Zhan ? " Wei Wuxian said.

" Wangji won't go with you, this time. Meditate yourself." Immortal Sanren said shooing his grandson.

Wei Wuxian looked at her grandma as wanting to know what she was up to but found nothing. He shrugged and walked towards the pond.

" Wangji, come here." Immortal Sanren said pointing at the seat in front of him.

Wangji quietly sat .

" You love A' Xian, don't you ? " Immortal Sanren said.

Lan Wangji looked at Baoshan Sanren.

" You can't hide it . It reflects in your eyes, in your every action." Immortal Sanren said ,chuckling.

" But I doubt my grandson has any idea "

Lan Wangji didn't spoke. He neither deny nor accepted.

" Why don't you tell him ? " Immortal Sanren asked.

" Grandma don't have any objection ?" Lan Wangji asked.

" I can see how much you love him. How you cherished him. You both denied to tell me about the past , I know it wasn't very reminscing. I'll be glad if he has someone who can love him more than anything else." Immortal Sanren said smiling.

" Wei Ying is too kind and selfless. I don't want him to reciprocate my feelings because of gratitude. Wei Ying will never hurt anyone. I don't want him to choose me because of what I have done for him. In reality everything I have done was for me .

I want Wei Ying to live for himself. His choices have always lead him to help others. I want Wei Ying to make decision without thinking of anyone or anything else , just for himself , for his own happiness."

"What about you ? Won't you get hurt ?  "

Lan Wangji became silent. After a few minutes of silence Wangji spoke.

" I want Wei Ying happy. If he'll be happy with someone else..... then..... it's ok. Wei Ying deserves happiness after what he has gone through."

" I'm satisfied seeing him safe and sound in this world and being his friend. His everything is priceless for me."

Lan Wangji became silent. He had never spoke this much but he knew he had to sincerely let out his thoughts. Immortal Sanren was staring at the young man in front of him who was speaking, directly looking in her eyes, with so much sincerity.

" Grandma, I'm leaving tomorrow. I need to go." Lan Wangji said suddenly.

" Where are you leaving ? "

Lan Wangji and Immortal Sanren both turned to see the Wei Wuxian staring at them knitting his brows.

Wei Wuxian walked towards them.

" Where are you leaving, lan Zhan ? " Wei Wuxian repeated.

" Why did you come back so soon ? " Immortal Sanren asked.

" I thought I meditate enough . "

" Don't change topic. What are you two talking about ? " Wei Wuxian asked. He wasn't going to waver .

" Wangji has something to do so he'll leave tomorrow."

" What do you mean , he'll leave ? I'm also going with him ."

" You have to make your core strong."

" If it emergency then I'm going too. I'm not staying here."

" Lan Zhan, you tell me ? What's the situation ? " Wei Wuxian said staring at Lan Wangji.

Immortal Sanren sighed. His grandson was more stubborn than his daughter. She got up and left giving them space.

" Lan Zhan , why are you thinking of going alone ? "

" Wei Ying " lan Zhan said standing up.

" What ? "

" I have something to do. Wei Ying should stay here. "

" What you have to do ? And why can't I go with you ? "

Lan Wangji didn't spoke.

" Lan Zhan, I'm going with you and don't you dare to leave me here." Wei Wuxian said and left from there angrily.

Wei Wuxian went to his room. He sat on bed while crossing his legs, he was angry as well a little hurt that Lan Wangji wasn't telling him anything.

Outside Lan Wangji just stared in direction where Wei Wuxian vanished. He sat again while clenching his bichen.

In morning, Wei Wuxian didn't talk with Lan Wangji.He knew he was acting really childish and unreasonable this time but he didn't want Lan Wangji to leave him behind.

Wei Wuxian was sitting on a rock swirling Chenqing between his fingers.

" A' Xian why are you here ? " Immortal Sanren asked.

" Nothing, Grandma. " Wei Wuxian said.

" Then why didn't you talk to Wangji usually ? "

" You know grandma."

" A'Xian, tell me one thing."

Wei Wuxian nodded his head.

" Do you think Lan Wangji will always be with you or you always be with him ? "

Wei Wuxian was stunned by the question. He had never thought about it.

" And if you think so then why ? "

" I don't know " Wei Wuxian whispered.

" Then think about it ." Immortal Sanren said and left.

Wei Wuxian was in his deep thoughts. He jumped from rock and walked aimlessly. He was walking when he saw Lan Wangji standing. He halted in his tracks.

Wei Wuxian saw Lan Wangji getting message from Gusu. For a moment Wei Wuxian think he saw Lan Wangji a little restless.

Lan Wangji immediately sent back a message.

Wei Wuxian with fast pace approached Lan Wangji.

" Lan Zhan, What happen ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

Lan Zhan turned hearing the voice.

" Wangji, aren't you leaving ? " Immortal Sanren.

Lan Wangji nodded. He activated the teleportation talisman. Wei Wuxian was with him so he also teleported.
