" Wang, there is still an outer seal. If someone freed the demon then shouldn't it be broken too ? " Er Ming said.

They had already came at Yunmeng and at the outskirts of it , in a desolated area they were inspecting the seal in night time.

" But he said it's the place. Could he be wrong ? "

" Also will it be right if we break it ? "

Lan Wangji was listening Er Ming calmly staring at the sealing in front of him. They were outside the Yunmeng city , in a place away from normal eyes. There was a huge rock, looking ordinary but when Er Ming let his one feather near it , a barrier appeared.

" It seems ok " Wei Wuxian said.

" That's the problem." Er Ming said.

" What are these patterns ? " Wei Wuxian said trying to figure out what they symbolise.

" Sealing spell ? " Er Ming said in dubious voice.

" You don't know ?" Wei Wuxian asked surprised.

" These are thousands of years old. I'm not that aged and about my memory...." Er Ming said.

" Ah ! " Wei Wuxian said laughing lightly while rubbing his nape.

" is it strong ? " Lan Wangji asked from behind.

" What do you mean ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

" Seal , how strong is it ? " Lan Wangji repeated.

" Of course it must be strong, it's done by....." Er Ming stopped as he understood about what Lan Wangji was talking. Wei Wuxian too get the idea what Lan Wangji was thinking.

" Want me to check ? " Er Ming confirmed.

" Mn "

" How it's related to whether demon freed or not ? " Yi Ran asked. He was also with them , standing aside.

" This seal was done by someone very powerful. So..." Er Ming stopped.

" Let me try to forcefully break it." Er Ming said and he attack on seal with his feather arrows and in just few attacks , the seal cracked and an entrance appear beside the rock.

" It was just an imitation." Er Ming said.

" So it really happened " Wei Wuxian sighed.

" Let's check inside too." Er Ming said and walked towards the entrance.

The inside was dark and was illuminated by Er Ming's flame. It was like a long cave with sticky humid walls.

After walking for sometime they reached a wide space which had an altar in centre on which a high mound was placed. The mound was diagonally broken.

Lan Wangji touched the mound with his long slander fingers. He felt emptiness.

Er Ming and were looking around the place. The place had eight small altars surrounding the middle altar.

" This place is lifeless." Er Ming said.

" So someone did it . But why someone unseal a demon ? I don't think they are easy to tame. Right master ?" Yi Ran said.

" World is full of maniacs." Wei Wuxian sighed. He was himself a witness of madness filled with hunger of blood .

Wei Wuxian turned to Lan Wangji who was staring the mound.

" Lan Zhan, what happened ? "

" Let's go back." Lan Wangji said.

" Yes, let's go back." Er Ming said.
