Chapter - 35

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji teleported directly inside Jingshi. Wei Wuxian was surprised as he was never able to teleport directly inside cloud recesses because of barrier outside.

Lan Wangji without saying anything rushed out from Jingshi. Wei Wuxian followed him.

Lan Wangji directly went towards the gate. Wei Wuxian was stunned to see dozens of black creatures like one they captured but these were a little different from previous one.

It was more like human and animal figures coated with black. They were attacking like fierce corpse without feeling any pain.

" How they are here ? " Wei Wuxian said.

" Wangji  ! " Lan Xichen called.

" Xiongzhang ! "

" Zewu Jun, what happened here ? "

"I don't know. Some disciples found a corpse and when they were bringing it, these suddenly come out ."

Wei Wuxian nodded. They didn't had time to talk as the disciples were having a difficult time for dealing with those creatures.

Wei Wuxian started to made resentment dance on his notes. Lan Wangji unsheathed his sword and guqin. They attacked but the creature seemed to be unaffected. They were moving forward and attacking with their claws. They almost entered in cloud recesses.

For a second each creature stopped . They looked around like they were searching for something and to everyone surprise they all were moved towards Xichen. They moved towards him like hungry tiger pounced on his prey. But before they could approach him, they again stopped. They become crazy and shrieked in high pitch. Then they started to move towards Wei Wuxian.

" Wei Ying, move aside." Lan Wangji said who was beside Wei Wuxian.

Wei Wuxian glanced at the person beside him and saw Lan Wangji was moving backward little by little.

" Lan..." Wei Wuxian was about to say but seeing the look in Lan Wangji's eyes, his breath hitched.

He moved sideways but keep moving backward with Wangji.

Wei Wuxian noticed that the creature was moving towards them. Then he saw Lan Wangji's blood dripping from his palm. His brows knitted.

Lan Xichen was also surprised but more worried. He moved in Lan Wangji's direction. Other disciples didn't dare to move.

When Lan Wangji was enough away from others. His lips moved and the next second a majestic sword was in his left hand which was dripping with blood.

Whoever saw that, was stunned . Ice jade of Gusu, Hanguang Jun of cultivation world, role model of many cultivators , was a two sword wielder, no one knew. They could sense a different aura from Lan Wangji.

The blood coverd the azure blade of sword making it scarlet red. Lan Wangji moved his sword like he was always used of weilding it with left hand.

Wei Wuxian and Lan Xichen was surprised as well confused to see Lan Wangji slashing the creature with his new sword. The sword blade was surrounded by azure fire. No one had ever seen such a sword.

The creature were screaming but still moving towards Wangji like moth to flame.

Lan Wangji was taking the advantage of the situation and slashing every forward moving thing. Earlier they seemed to unaffected but now they were turning in ashes.

When Lan Wangji cleared them all, he was standing in centre with the sword and everyone was staring at him like they didn't know the person in front of him.
