Chapter - 21

Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian with their new companion reached a village near Bai forest. It was not far away from Huli mountain so in one and half day they reached there.

" Here seem everything fine. No one is talking about anything strange." Wei Wuxian said sitting an inn and sipping wine.

" Should we check forest ? " Zhao Yi Ran said looking a little restless.

" You are looking restless, is there a reason ? Are you sure that he is here ? " Wei Wuxian asked amused.

" I don't know about him. " Zhao Yi Ran said looking a little disappointed.

" Let's go there in night." Wei Wuxian said.

" Till then Zhao gongzi, you are free to roam around , you can find a beautiful lady for yourself ." Wei Wuxian said with mischievous grin.

" I didn't find anyone beautiful here." Zhao Yi Ran said not understanding the tease.

" So what's beautiful for you ? " Wei Wuxian asked. He was getting intrested .

" Hanguang Jun " Zhao Yi Ran said nonchalantly.

Wei Wuxian choked on his drink. Lan Wangji rubbed his back and gave him water ignoring everything like he wasn't the centre of conversation.

" What ? " Wei Wuxian almost shouted after getting his breath.

" Why are you shouting ? " Zhao Yi Ran said wincing slightly.

" Hanguang Jun is really handsome and his eyes......  they are really worthy to see." Zhao Yi Ran said looking at Lan Wangji, admiring him like a painting.

Wei Wuxian was flabbergasted by this straight forwardness. He turned sideways and saw him sipping tea, unbothered.

" And that lan, lan Shizui, he is quite handsome too." Zhao Yi Ran said. Now his look was slightly different from the one he had for Lan Wangji.

" Oh ! Yeah our Shizui is growing in fine man ." Wei Wuxian said laughing slightly.

He glanced at Lan Wangji whose lips were stretched slightly that it was difficult to say it's a smile but Wei Wuxian felt again that weird sensation in his chest again.

" But he is cold." Zhao Yi Ran said .

" And you think he isn't cold." Wei Wuxian said pointing at Lan Wangji.

" Nope, Hanguang Jun is different, just people don't see it." Zhao Yi Ran said standing up.

" Ok, master Wei , I think should meet people to know more." Zhao gongzi said bowing and then he turned to leave.

Wei Wuxian put his cup on table. He didn't think anymore that the wine was tasty. His mind was playing Zhao Yi Ran's word.

"Hanguang Jun is different just people don't see it ."

" Wei Ying" Lan Wangji said when he found Wei Wuxian wasn't drinking anymore.

" Hm, Lan Zhan" Wei Wuxian turned to Lan Wangji.

" Why Wei Ying stop drinking ? " Lan Zhan asked.

" Not in mood anymore."  Wei Wuxian said.

Lan Wangji noticed the change in mood.

" What happen ? " Lan Wangji asked .

" Nothing, I think I'm tired." Wei Wuxian said getting up.

" I'm going to rest." Wei Wuxian said.

" Wei Ying should meditate. " Lan Wangji said .

They had been sitting there for almost an hour and that was enough for always energetic Wei Wuxian to get rest but seemed like he didn't want to talk so Lan Wangji didn't ask again.
