Wei Wuxian, lan Wangji and Zhao Yi Ran went to a restaurant . They ordered food.

As they were having dinner Zhao Yi Ran suddenly ask ," master Wei , have you decided what to say to Sect leader ? "

" Nope, I haven't think about it. " Wei Wuxian answered.

" Zhao gongzi, I'm very curious about the method you used to find the cave." Wei Wuxian said.

" It's nothing. I just send my spritual energy to found where is the another source of strong spritual energy. Even though she wasn't there but the place was her home so it's natural to found traces there." Zhao Yi Ran answered.

" Zhao gongzi you really trust us to tell us about the technique." Wei Wuxian said laughing.

" You two are good people and also you two protected me in Gusu." Zhao Yi Ran said.

Wei Wuxian laughed the naivety of the man. How could he trust someone so easily just because he was protected by once. It could be designed to gain trust.

" Zhao gongzi, how your sect select you to investigate such case ? " Wei Wuxian asked laughing.

" Because I'm talented." Zhao Yi Ran said proudly making Wei Wuxian burst into laughter.

" Yeah, you sure are ." Wei Wuxian was in stitches.

Zhao Yi Ran was staring at Wei Wuxian with confused face as he didn't understand what's so hysterical.

After laughing his heads off Wei Wuxian stopped and start having dinner. After dinner they went to market. In night the market become more lively and beautiful because of illuminating lanterns.

Zhao Yi Ran and Wei Wuxian were busy in questioning and answering about spritual energy as Wei Wuxian really liked the idea of Zhao Yi Ran technique and he could use it to invent new talisman.

" Master Wei, I think we should go back ." Zhao Yi Ran said.

Wei Wuxian nodded and turned and saw that lan Wangji wasn't with them.

" Where is lan zhan ? " Wei Wuxian said looking around.

" Something must have caught his attention." Zhao Yi Ran said.

" Zhao gongzi, you should go. I'll come back with Lan Zhan." Wei Wuxian said.

Zhao Yi Ran nodded while shrugging and left.

Wei Wuxian forget that he need to talk with Lan Wangji. He started to look around. After searching for a while his eyes suddenly caught the sight of Lan Wangji's white robe. He happily ran towards it. Lan Wangji was standing a little far away from crowd , the moon light was highlighting his god like features and he was staring in space.

" Lan Zhan ! " Wei Wuxian said loudly.

" Mn " lan Wangji turned in the direction of voice.

" Aiyaa, why you leave suddenly ? And you didn't tell me ." Wei Wuxian pouted slightly.

Lan Wangji's lips twitch slightly before he said," Wei Ying was busy in getting new ideas."

" Aiyaa, lan zhan, you know me very well." Wei Wuxian said little bit embarassed.

" Mn " lan Wangji said.

" Lan Zhan...." Wei Wuxian was hesitating.

" Mn " Lan Wangji said calmly. If Wei Ying needed time to collect his thoughts before speaking then he can wait , wait for eternity. In all these years the one thing he has learnt was 'patience '

Wei Wuxian saw Lan Wangji looking calm and gazing far away. He knew Lan Wangji wasn't in haste and waiting for him to speak his mind.

" Lan Zhan,....... about earlier..... I'm sorry. I misunderstood you." Wei Wuxian said remorsefully.
