Chapter - 50

Next morning, Wei Wuxian got up early and saw the empty bed .

He got up with a jolt. Outside he saw Er Ming , Yi Ran and Lan Wangji with old lady.

They all were thanking her for her kindness and help.

Wei Wuxian joined them and thanked her. After that they left. Reaching in the forest, they stopped. Er Ming send Yi Ran to check the forest once again.

Wei Wuxian held Lan Wangji's wrist, making him startled.

" Your qi is stable. " Wei Wuxian said.

Lan Wangji nodded. Yeah , he had already regulated it.

" Er Ming, did you get any news of other beasts death ? " Lan Wangji asked.

" No , I tell the queen to inform others so ..." Er Ming said but he himself seemed to feel something missing.

" What does it mean ? " Wei Wuxian said frowning. He didn't think that their enemy was merciful enough to give them time to plan and with his army he was strong enough to trample anyone. They could fight only in groups except Lan Wangji who had ability to handle those black swamps alone.

" Let's go to next seal. " Lan Wangji said.

Both Er Ming and Wei Wuxian turned to Lan Wangji.

Lan Wangji didn't bother to answer and just moved forward.

" Lan Zhan , do you have something in mind ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

" He'll come . " Lan Wangji said. He was confident and why not ? He was the most delicious among the feast scattered everywhere.

Wei Wuxian didn't understand as why Lan Wangji was so confident. Why he would come to them ? Lan Wangji had nothing left . Yes , may be he seemed to a barrier but still ....

Wei Wuxian were thinking and walking. Er Ming was sitting over Wei Wuxian's shoulder.

Soon Yi Ran came , telling them there was nothing wrong. Lan Wangji nodded. Er Ming turned into big form , taking Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian on his back. They flew towards the next location, according to Lan Wangji.

Sun was setting , painting sky with red hue , they reached a mountain peak.

Yi Ran created a space with trees for them. They still needed to find the exact location of seal.

As they were inspecting the mountain, both Er Ming and Yi Ran became still.

" Master ... " Yi Ran said.

Er Ming seemed to get more angry and irritated. Wei Wuxian glanced at them , wanted to know what's wrong but soon his query was answered by a giant , red dragon.

" Prince " Wei Wuxian said.

Lan Wangji didn't turn around.

" Lord Cui " The prince bowed.

" What are you doing here ? If I'm not wrong you must be busy with protective measures. " Er Ming asked without a single ounce of respect. He was utterly rude.

" I'm here to help you. " Prince said.

Er Ming scoffed and asked" Your mother gave you permission ? "

" Yes, she showed me the records of sealed demons. So I think you must be here. " Prince said.

" Ah ! It's wrong from the beginning. How I forgot that they must have recorded it somewhere for future generation ? " Er Ming thought.

" Are you alone, Jun de ? " Er Ming asked.

" Yes." Prince said.

" We are searching for the seal. You are here so do some work ." Er Ming said . He was calm than earlier.
