Chapter - 24

Lan Wangji sensed the gaze. He looked up and met with Wei Wuxian's gray eyes.

" Wei Ying " Lan Wangji said.

" Hm "

" Want to say something ? "

" Nothing, I'm just amazed how can you be so calm in every situation, Lan Zhan ?" Wei Wuxian said.

Lan Wangji didn't spoke and closed his eyes again.

" Lan Zhan, have you ever laugh or scream loudly ? "

Lan Wangji didn't answer but surely his body stiffened unnoticeably.

" Aiyaa , Lan Zhan, don't ignore me."

Lan Wangji was still sitting like a jade statue.

" Aiyaa , open your eyes. Look what I've invent" Wei Wuxian said.

The eyelashes lifted , revealing the golden pool  and saw Wei Wuxian sitting beside him.

Wei Wuxian when saw Lan Wangji opening his eyes, he placed three talisman in front of him.

" Lan Zhan, put your spritual energy in one of them ." Wei Wuxian said.

Lan Wangji did without questioning. Then Wei Wuxian took it. He activated it and the talisman soon started fluttering and stuck on lan Wangji's robe.

" I got idea from Zhao Yi Ran's searching technique.  This talisman can find anyone whose spritual energy is connected with it." Wei Wuxian explained.

" Wei Ying is talented."

Wei Wuxian felt happy hearing Lan Wangji's praise.

" But it works only for short range ." Wei Wuxian said.

" Wei Ying will make it perfect."

" You believe ? "

" Mn " lan Wangji said.

" Wei Ying didn't sleep" Lan Wangji said.

" Ah ! Lan Zhan , how do you know ? " Wei Wuxian asked .

Lan Wangji looked at talisman in front of him. Wei Wuxian noticed this and smiled, embarassed.

" Ah ! You know I forgot to sleep while thinking about how to make these work." Wei Wuxian said rubbing his nape.

" Wei Ying shouldn't ignore his health."

" Yes yes , you are right , lan Zhan." Wei Wuxian said laughing.

On the otherside lan Jingyi and Jin ling was bickering and A'yuan was trying to make them stop.

After waiting for hours and not getting anything Zhao Yi Ran jump down from the tree and walked towards the trio.

" Would you mind telling me where you see the white mist ? " Zhao Yi Ran asked politely.

The bickering stop and they turned to Zhao Yi Ran.

" Yes, we can ." Lan Jingyi said.

" What are you thinking Zhao gongzi ? " Wei Wuxian asked from behind. When he saw Zhao Yi Ran walking towards Shizui and others he decided to see what's he up to.

" He didn't come back yet. Just wanna check if something else happened ." Zhao Yi Ran said.

" You are right. Waiting won't do anything." Wei Wuxian said.

" It's in west from here." Lan Shizui said.

They started to walk towards the place in the lead of Lan Shizui.
