Chapter - 39

Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji walked inside the forest with er Ming and Yi Ran. They stopped in the dense part of jungle.

" Master, can't I really do that ? " Zhao Yi Ran whined.

" No " Er Ming straight forwardly denied.

He fly down from Yi Ran's shoulder to ground.

" I'm itching all over my body." Zhao Yi Ran whined.

Er Ming ignored him. He suddenly transformed into a big bird with red and golden feathers. At the end of each feather, flames were fluttering.

" Er Ming is a phoenix." Lan Wangji said.

Wei Wuxian nodded. He was seeing many lagendery creatures.

" Master is a show off." Zhao Yi Ran whispered.

Wei Wuxian chuckled softly.

Er Ming enclosed them in a tomb of red, glowing feathers and in a blink of eye they were in a mountain, covered with white, dazzling snow.

Wei Wuxian was glad that he had a core in his body otherwise he would have died of cold.

"Why are we here ? " Wei Wuxian asked looking around. Except whiteness which spreading like blanket, he couldn't see anything.

" We are going to my home from here." Zhao Yi Ran said.

Er Ming opened an entrance and they walked inside. Wei Wuxian was stunned to see the inside scene. It was like it's a different world. The view in front of him was mesmerizing. There were beautiful mountains in front, animals were grazing, flowers were blooming. Wei Wuxian can feel the vital energy everywhere, in every thing.

" Finally ! " Zhao Yi Ran said excitedly and he walked forward and turned into a beautiful green dragon. His scales were dark green but the lower scales around his belly were light. He had light green sparkling eyes with two white horns which glistening in light.

" Yi Ran too.." Wei Wuxian looked at Wangji.

"Mn ."

Wei Wuxian looked at how happily Zhao Yi Ran was twilring in air. It's like he freed from prison.

" Master Wei, I really hate walking. This is best." Zhao Yi Ran said but now his voice was deep and hoarse.

" I know now why you were so whiny about walking on ground." Wei Wuxian said smiling.

" This kid... " Er Ming said sighing. He changed into smaller version of himself.

" You come with me. He won't come back until he get rid of his itching" Er Ming said.

Wei Wuxian nodded. Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian followed Er Ming. After walking a while , they reached in a beautiful house inside the forest.

" Me and Yi Ran live here, away from others. All live in town like in Gusu." Er Ming said.

" Ok, why don't you tell us about what happened here ? " Wei Wuxian said.

Er Ming nodded and gestured them to come inside. He made them sit.

" Around six months ago, a pair of dragon disappeared and we found them outside this place, when queen sent someone to search for them, they found them in human form, dead ."

" What's wrong being in human form ? "

" You have heard about the beasts who get human form after years of cultivation. Well it's true. But not for everyone." Er Ming said.

Wei Wuxian was listening everything carefully.

" Dragons have a four clans. This one is special because here dragons born with human form. But the human form isn't strong one. Their dragon body is the real one so if they found in human form it means their dragon body was devoured. Every single thing on dragon bady is full of vital energy and powerful and that's one of reason spritual beasts always get hunted. "
