Chapter - 42

It was night time when Er Ming went out of house. He flew outside the barrier. He passed over the forest and landed near a small river at the edge of forest. He saw a red dragon fighting but it seemed that he was dominated. He involved in fight.

" Jun de, what are you doing here ? " Er Ming asked.

" I received a signal but there was no dragon just this black thing." Jun de said struggling. He was in dragon form .

Er Ming grow more big and powerful. He started to attack with his fire. Jun de was also breathing fire. The black thing was spreading like swamp in very large area and growing taller like trees of forest, ready to devour anything come in front of him.

Jun de used his tail to make a circle glowing red and throw it on the black mass. Er Ming used his wings , burning with fire and throw it on black mass like a arrows. They seemed to subdue the black mass but suddenly it become vigorous and it's movement become fast. Dozens of whip like structure come out from mass and started to attack blindly.

Er Ming and Jun de was dodging and attacking simultaneously but suddenly Wang jun de's tail was caught by whips. He pulled it but was no avail. Er Ming tried to free Jun de but more whips wrapped around Jun de. Jun de's tail was being sucked in black mass. Scream and groan come out of his mouth. He struggled. Er Ming was trying his best not to come in contact with black mass and save Wang Jun de.

When Er Ming was feeling helpless, a sword come and cut the black mass , freeing Jun de. Er Ming immediately pulled the groaning Jun de at the safe distance in air. Then he saw Lan Wangji flying towards them on sword.

Lan Wangji was holding his another sword in his hand and was standing on bichen in air. He made fly his another sword towards black mass , controlling with his spritual energy.

" Wang ! " Er Ming shouted.

Lan Wangji ignored him and focused on attacking black mass.

" take him to safe place." Lan Wangji shouted.

Er Ming did what he asked. He flew farther to place unconscious Jun de on ground safely.

The black mass was seemed to be affected by attacks but it again started again with whips. Er Ming came back and created a barrier around it to stop him moving forward.

Seeing the black mass was restrained
Lan Wangji landed on ground. Now he was controlling both of his swords.

On the ground Lan Wangji's eyes glowing looking like two tiny suns in night. He moved his two fingers and a wave of water come to attack on black mass. Lan Wangji used the water like blades and started slashing the black mass.

" Wang ! " Er Ming said . The worry and fear was evident in his voice.

" Not good " Er Ming said.

On the ground Lan Wangji freeze the water in many ice cones and stabbed in black mass. The mass started to freeze. Er Ming, taking the advantage, broke the big ice statue into tiny shreds.

Lan Wangji called his swords back. He stumbled and kneeled on ground with one knee touching the surface. Er Ming flew towards him with concerned face.

" Wang !" Er Ming shouted.

Lan Wangji stood up before Er Ming could reach him.

" I'm fine " Lan Wangji said.

" Stop spouting nonsence ! " Er Ming yelled with worry.

" he ? " Lan Wangji asked ignoring his own condition.

" He'll be fine. But you..." Er Ming said frustratedly.
