After Lan Sizhui left , only Lan Wangji and Wei wuxian were standing there. As usual Lan Wangji didn't say anything.

" Lan Zhan , you have taught chord assassination technique to A'yuan."

" Mn"

" It's very powerful."

" That's why teach him."

" Ah ?"

" Sizhui knows when to use and when to restrain."

" You are right. He has grown up into a fine young man."

"Mn."

" You develop this technique to a great extent, lan Zhan."

"It's depend on spiritual energy knowledge." Lan Wangji said.

" Lan Zhan why you left earlier ?" Wei Wuxian asked suddenly .

" Duty." Lan Wangji said.

" Aiyaa I forget , lan Zhan, you have so much work to do ." Wei Wuxian said laughing.

Lan Wangji didn't spoke.

"Lan Zhan , you were speaking a lot while teaching A'yuan and now , again , you become silent." Wei Wuxian said.

" Well Lan Zhan , Nie Huisang seems to be mysterious. Is he planning something again ? He said he wants to discuss something with Zewu Jun which he get to know recently." Wei Wuxian said seriously.

" Wei Ying don't have to worry."

" Wei Ying is not alone anymore."

Lan Wangji said staring at Wei Wuxian. Wei Wuxian smiled warmly completely different from his usual bright smile.
Lan Wangji felt his heart beating like crazy but his face was expressionless as usual.

" I know." Wei Wuxian said.

" Let's go back , lan Zhan." Wei Wuxian said.

" Mn." Lan Wangji said.

They came back to cloud recesses. After sometime Lan Xichen called Wei Ying and Lan Wangji .

Both Lan Wangji and Wei wuxian went towards where Jiang Cheng and Nie Huisang was sitting with lan Xichen.

Both of them entered and bowed. Then they took their seats.

" Wangji, Wei gongzi Sect leader Nie has something to tell." Lan Xichen said.

"There is something happening in cultivation world . My people found that in few places people are affected by some dark energy." Nie Huisang said.

" Resentment ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

" We don't know clearly. But my men report that it's different from resentment. "

" How different ? " Jiang Cheng asked.

" People who were affected by it , was like someone has sucked everything from them and just left a dry corpse." Nie Huisang said.

" Resentment feed on people's fears, obsessions and negative thoughts. It can make people crazy but this.... can't happen." Wei Wuxian said thinking.

" What are other symptoms before people finally become dry corpse ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

" They become delusional, talk like a mad person and after few days they started to feel weak and then dead. It all happens in 8 to 10 days." Nie Huisang said.

"Who are the targets ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

" Cultivators but with weak core. " Nie Huisang said.

" How many cases has happened ? "
