" Zhao gongzi do you have something else to ask ? " Sect leader asked.

Zhao Yi Ran shook his head and averted his gaze.

" Sect leader, do you have any idea about the words which Wu Guniang just spoke ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

" Nothing, calling her kin and also trying to aware them about danger . It's confusing."

" Sect leader may I ask something ? " Wei Wuxian asked.

Sect leader nodded.

" May I know why people here and also your sect give great value to nine tailed ?"  Wei Wuxian asked cautiously.

" It's nothing serious. My ancestors started this custom. Rumours have that my ancestors were helped by a nine tailed fox so to give him honour they used his tails as our symbol of sect and worshipped him." Sect leader answered calmly.

Wei Wuxian nodded. The story matched with the one he heard in restaurant.

" Gongzi must be tired , why don't you rest here till then you decide what to do ?" Sect leader said.

" Then we will trouble you sect leader." Wei Wuxian said and bowed.

" No trouble at all. " Sect leader said.

Wei Wuxian smiled . Sect leader asked disciples to escort them to guest rooms.

When they were alone , no one wanted to talk. Only Zhao Yi Ran and Wei Wuxian were the one who speak but now they were also quiet.

" Zhao gongzi, what opinion do you have ? " Wei Wuxian asked breaking the ice.

Zhao Yi Ran glanced at him like he was in daze.

" Zhao gongzi ! " Wei Wuxian again called .

This time his trance break.

" What ?"

" I asked about your opinion." Wei Wuxian said.

" I'm thinking. You should think too . I'm going to my room." Zhao Yi Ran said and left.

Wei Wuxian turned to Lan Wangji who was staring at Zhao Yi Ran's retreating back. Wei Wuxian again frowned.

" Lan Zhan "

" He is acting strange."

"Mn"

"Lan Zhan, do you think he know something ?"

" Mn "

" Lan Zhan , do you like him ? " Wei Wuxian blurted out.

Lan Wangji turned to him with shock in his eyes.

" What ? "

" Ah ! I was kidding but your reaction is worth it ." Wei Wuxian said and laughed.

Lan Wangji shook his head.

" Only a beautiful and charming lady is worthy of you." Wei Wuxian said but this time Lan Wangji didn't smile but turned his face to other side. He stood up and stand beside the window where he could see a small pond in yard.

" You didn't deny , so you were waiting for someone." Wei Wuxian said.

Lan Wangji looked outside. His face was stoic  but his eyes were holding a deep pain.

' mn, I'm waiting for someone. '

" Lan zhan "

" Mn" lan Wangji turned to Wei Wuxian this time.

" It's confusing." Wei Wuxian complained.

Lan Wangji smiled to hear the complain. No matter how long he had to wait he was ready because his Wei deserve happiness.
