(A/N‼️keep in mind that my bonuses are things that have canonically happened, but i haven't added to the official storyline because they're more for filler‼️

JlpTurtle has asked me to write something where they're all happy so😭i already had this idea cooking anyway. here you go :))

Cleo grabbed me by my waist. She pulled me in with such elegance, like I was a princess.

"We should go to an aquarium," I blurted.

"Ah yes, to see the marine life," she replied.

"I swear-"
She cut me off by kissing my lips. Somehow, just in that small little moment, she'd completely encapsulated me. As her lips were against mine, I kissed her back, being pressed against the homey, coolness of her soft skin.

"Don't say that profanity in front of my children," she playfully threatened.

I scoffed.
She smiled, pushing my head against her chest.

I'd be so quick to say she owned me.

"Why an aquarium?"
"I don't know, we need to get out more."

"Mm, that's fair, I suppose. When should we go?"

The grey flicks in her hazel eyes glimmered as she gazed down at me, pulses of love filled her stare. To know she was all mine seemed like a dream.

"When are you free?" I wrapped my arms around her lower waist, completely leaning into her.

"Most days," she answered.
"Maybe Saturday afternoon, then?"

She kissed the top of my head, "Sounds good, babydoll."

We stayed there for a moment, our bodies lightly swaying back and forth.

"I'm going to keep making that fish joke, though."

"Fuck yourself," I whispered.
"I'll fuck you."

"Is that a threat?" I murmured.

"If you'd like it to be," she quietly teased. Her voice was so low it had become raspy.

I blushed, then pushed her away, letting her know the conversation was over.

~Saturday~

Saturday afternoon was as rainy as any other, but inside the aquarium building, it was dark. There were blue hanging lights and diagrams of fish that covered the walls. There was a large crystalline chandelier with pale yellow lighting over the front desk, but rather than that, all the walls were stained with the shining blue from the ceiling's hanging lights.

I'd seen the pictures online and had picked it out so we could blame Theo's skin color on the fluorescents.

Regardless, he still had on a jacket with the hood up.

Theo could finally walk on his own, but we brought the stroller because it would be where he'd be spending most of his time. Because of Melanie's age, she didn't need to ride in it, and she didn't want to. She'd made it very clear.

Bringing it almost hadn't been worth it, because all Theo wanted to do was run along with his sister, for fear of missing out.

Melanie ran into the line for the passes nearly quicker than Cleo could catch her. But she got a hold of her hand and gently pulled her to the side along with the stroller.
I went up to the front desk to get the passes, while Cleo did what I assumed was giving Melanie a little talk on how she wasn't going to run ahead of us all day.
