Hi everyone :) I'm Clauve and I wrote this emotional gay wreck of a book. Because I'm gay too, (i have like five different labels but lets not get into that right now) AND I LIKE MONSTERS.

I write what I want to read, and apparently that includes emotional heartbreak?

I wrote this crappy little vampire romance because I was bored one day, I had like one piece of writing and had no idea where I was going with the plot but decided "hey let me post this on wattpad"
AND NOW IM HERE?

(It's cheesy, I know).

I can't believe you actually took the time to read this and you care even a little bit. I didn't realize how much writing was a dream of mine until i downloaded this stinky little app.
The only reason I even knew this app existed was because of the bts fanfics i used to write 😟😟😟(they still haunt me).

allow me to show you the first piece of writing i ever did with this story💀

"Her pale paper white hand caressed my cheek, 'You're quite unique, nothing like I've smelt before.' I sat eyes wide, longing for more of her touch as her hand drew away."

yeah i don't think the characters even had names yet.

I think that actually might have gotten accepted into the first chapter but I'm not sure💀

I'm going to go ahead and assume each of you are as mentally ill as I am, so i will address you as such <3 (love you, take no offense please😭)

I'm literally obsessed with each and every one of you. You are so loved and you do have a purpose here. If you truly think no one likes you, I DO. BE QUIET. I LOVE YOU.

okay here's the part where i get emotional :) (tw: talk of depression and sh, skip to red🛑)

I think Marine came off a little too relatable sometimes😭and i think some of you can also agree with that.

I currently deal with self harm and I'm seeing a therapist for depression and anxiety. I truly did not realize how much Marine was a self insert until I stepped back. I mean, not totally, I feel like that's kind of unprofessional. But all writers should have characters that also exhibit some of their own characteristics.

Writing has become an outlet for me to cope with my thoughts because of how distracting it is. When I wrote Marine's intrusive thoughts, that wasn't triggering to me in the slightest, because honestly, most of it was just me projecting.

But that's what I mean, you can't get away with writing a book and having your characters act nothing like you.

The reason Cleo turned out the way she did was because she's literally all I want in a woman, which is like the most pathetic thing I've ever said, I know. But hey, I like what i like, man.

During their one-sided friendship, they enlist help from a singular ghoul, Carasein, who takes pity on them and their situation.

To an outsider, everything seems to be going fine. In reality, Carasein is the only thing keeping Vrena's dagger from slicing Maizie's head off.

Will Carasein ever help them find the cure to solve the war? Or will they end up helping each other explore something else?
