Part 17

Bella's POV

I lay down in my bed sighing to myself. At night, it helps me sleep better if I sing to myself, but I can't do that, Kai might hear me. So I wait a while.

Probably 10 minutes later I call Kai.

"Hey, Kai, are you asleep yet?"

I get no response. I smile to myself. Great.

I cough and do little warm ups like I always do.

"Lying beside you, here in the dark." I sing Exo's Open Arms. "Feeling your heart beat with mine." (In English)

I continue to sing until I got to the chorus. I can barely keep my eyes open, so I just fall asleep.

Kai's POV

"Hey, Kai, are you asleep yet?" I hear Bella call to me. I stay quiet.

Then all of a sudden, Bella starts singing. I smile against my pillow as soon as I realize she's singing an English song by us. Her beautiful voice gives me such tingly feelings.

Sadly, she stops before the chorus.

I never knew she could sing so well! If she can dance, my heart will fly out of my chest.

Next Morning

Bella's POV

I wake up around 8:00 am. I see Kai still in his bed sleeping peacefully. I get up, stretch, and walk over to him.

He's so cute sleeping. I look away before I get any more feelings for him.

I shower, dry my hair, brush teeth, and then cleaned everything. I don't want to be messy so I clean the shower and sink every time I use it.

I change into Summery clothes. Like, a nice, blue flowy tank top with matching white shorts. I add a long lacy cardigan. I straighten my hair and do a messy braid. I also put on little mascara and eye liner and ChapStick. I apply deodorant to finish off.

I clean up all my stuff neatly and walk out of the room. Kai finally woke up.

He drops his jaw when he sees me. "Whoa."

I've always had confidence, but with the guy I like, it goes down a lot.

I stand there awkwardly playing with the bottom of my cardigan.

"You look very nice today." Kau goes up to me and gives me a hug.

"Hehe, thank you. And good morning too. Did you sleep well?" I ask while hugging him. He doesn't stop hugging me and it makes me blush.

"Yes, I slept well. You're singing really helped." Kai says.

I let go of him and look at him. "What? You heard me?"

"Yes, I heard you. You sounded so angelic." Kai grabs my hands and swings it.

I blush and look away. "Well, I can't say no to that."

"Look at me." Kai whispers in a deep voice sending chills down my spine.

I look up at him. "Yes?"

Kai smiles. "Nothing, nothing."

We stand there holding hands and looking at each other.

Sehun then comes in.

"Oh, whoa. Already, it's kind of early don't you think?" Sehun teases.

I stomp my feet. "Stop it, you're making me blush." I let go of Kai's hands and place them on my cheeks.

Kai smiles and leans down so he's eye level with me. "You're cute when you're shy."

My cheeks rise up even more when he said that. "Omo..."

"Come on, Bella! Let's go get some Bubble Tea!" Sehun waves his hands at me.

"Its early though!" I whine.

"Yeah, but it's better! We won't get bombarded by fans and we won't have to wait a long line." Sehun explains. "And Kai, put on a shirt and join us."

I look down at Kai's bare chest. I didn't even notice. Aish, am I already used to it?!

"Like what you see?" Kai smirks.

I gasp. "Oh sorry!" I turn away quickly.

Kai laughs. "I don't mind."

My face burns. Why does he have to be like this?

"Kai!!! Why are you like this? My cheeks are going to burst if you keep being like that!" I massage my cheekbones.

Kai chuckles. "Like what?" He backs me up against a wall slowly.

"Uhhhh, I'm going to wait for you two. Don't make too much noise, Luhan is still sleeping." Sehun leaves the room winking at Kai.

Ok, I'm starting to think Kai knows I like him.

I stand there with my arms close and my face covered. My insides are flying around right now! If he keeps acting like this, I don't know what'll happen! I might need to talk to Luhan about this!
