Ahkmenrah's POV

"The storm is done," She said. I got up and followed her. "Oh no, the city," She said pointing. My gaze followed her finger. The city was covered in sand and there were hardly any shops still standing. It was a bad storm. One of the worst I've ever seen.

"Ahkmenrah, we have to help them," Katalina said turning to face me. She is right.

"We will. We should change first though." She nodded and went into her room and a little while she came back in her dress from Greece. "You will wear that?" I asked.

"Yes, Ahkmenrah, I will feel better if something happens to it and it is mine rather than your mother's," I nodded understanding. Katalina and I went out and helped the people of the city. Clean off their properties and the shops. Katalina and I split up and she went to help the lady from who I bought the dresses.

I was helping a man with his land clearing off his house's porch. I watched Katalina as she was smiling with the lady and just being herself. I saw the man look over at me.

"You really do love her." He said catching me off guard. He smiled at me.

"I can't help falling in love with her," I said looking towards him.

"I love my wife the very same way." He said with a sad smile.

"Where is your wife?"

"She passed on two years ago." I looked at him sadly.

"I am sorry to hear that," I said.

"It is not your fault. But you treat that girl nicely. I cannot imagine the hell she's been through to get here." I nodded in agreement. She did have it rough to get here.

"Does the woman over by Katalina know English?" I asked the man.

"No. She knows only Egyptian. You may go over to them." I nodded in thanks and walked to Katalina.

"Yes, he is a very good pharaoh. As was his father." The woman said.

"I do not know much of his father," Katalina said, in Egyptian...

"Katalina? You know Egyptian?" I asked incredibly confused.

"Yes. I was having Nefer teach me. He was very kind about it. I wanted to be able to speak with the people here." She said blushing lightly.

"You could have asked me."

"You were busy. Plus it is not as though I know all of it. You could still teach me some. I just know the basics." She said. I smiled at her.

"Show me." She smiled widely.

"I love you, Ahkmenrah fourth king of the fourth king." She said. I smiled. The pronunciation is a little off but it is very good.

"Well, 'Εχω μάθει ελληνικά, καθώς και. Και σ 'άγατιώ Katalina Ελληνκή σκάσω. (I have been learning Greek as well. And I love you Katalina Greek Runaway.)" I said.

"Greek Runaway?" She questioned me.

"I've been learning Greek and your biggest concern is why I'm calling you 'Greek Runaway'?" I asked jokingly. She blushed lightly. I playfully rolled my eyes. "I called you Greek Runaway because you ran away from Greece."

"This is very true. That is a very good name for me," She said smiling. We walked hand in hand over to another woman who was struggling to set her booth back up.

After we've helped anyone and everyone we could we went back to the palace and I was in my room while Katalina was cleaning herself. She came out and I noticed she was blushing. No, it cannot be blush. It is all over her face and arms.

"Why are you pink?" I asked curiously. She looked up shocked and then felt her forehead and then arm. I looked at her confused.

"I am. I know what I am... just not in English. I will be okay though."

"What are you? You can say in Greek?" I asked. I just want to know.

"Κυρ έκαψαν. (Sunburnt.)" She said. I don't know what she said.

"And you will be okay?" I have never seen someone so pink from not blushing.

"Yes. I will be okay. In about two days. Maybe three."

"Does it hurt?"

"Not today." She laid down and put her head on my chest and shortly fell asleep. After her falling asleep I also fell asleep.

The next morning I awoke with Katalina still laying where she was the night before. I lightly shook her awake. She rubbed her eyes and looked up at me and smiled. Her cheeks and arms were still pink.

"Guess what?" I whispered into her ear.

"Hmm?" She asked with her head now back on my chest.

"We're getting married tomorrow." She looked up and smiled at me and closed her eyes resting her head down again. I don't want to move from her embrace.

But of course, Nefer came and wanted me. I slowly and carefully got myself out from underneath Katalina and she stayed asleep. I followed Nefer to the throne room where they were setting up the reception.

All he really wanted me to do was to confirm a few of the wedding plans and most of which I agreed to. And when I thought we were done he took me to the room with the tablet in it and started teaching me about it more.

"I know you don't want to be here right now, but this is important and you must know how it works." He said catching me in a sleepy position.

"I don't want to learn about the tablet. I want to go back to bed with Katalina. Isn't there time to learn about this in two days? After the wedding?"

"Sure. Now go up and get some beauty rest. I am commanding you and Katalina to a full day of rest because you two will need it," He said patting my back. I walked out of the secret room and back to mine to see Katalina in the same position from when I left. I didn't change out of my sleepwear and just went back into my bed and hugged Katalina close to me until I fell back into a peaceful, happy, excited sleeping state.
